When did this happen?!

Was this a thing a while here and I just haven't noticed? Was it edited recently? Is it a bug?

Seriously, since when do mage skills have no weapon limitations?

 

Haha maybe when the level cap gets insanely high I'll make a 2h Mage build.

 

I believe that's always been there because I would gob farm with a bow and cast circles. This was before all the updates when lvl cap was 50

 

Yea. I use to do equip kuckle and use wall for a earth element effect.
Or volcanic sword with fire effect.

It has been there for a while

 

I see, well it was a long time since i actually checked a mage skills description, it still said staff/ magic device back then and since i i never saw anyone on a forum or in game even mentioning it i kinda had no idea that this was a thing.....kinda feel a little stupid now.....

 

Nah only reason ppl dont use it coz it has quite a low damage.

I use to try make sword mage (half int :haft str) .... and end up ... delete my cha. Coz the wall damage is looooowwww.

I used my full int mage equip golem arm fir eath element and i can hit skele around 300-400 whereas when i use staff i it is 800-1000

That why it is quite uncommon to see ppl use it.

Ps. U can equip morning star staff and use arrow rain skill. But the damage is SO low compare to when i use bow

 

To increase damage using morning star staff with any skill, you need to increase STR.
