Which is better? Boss Equip Drop or Player Crafted?

Hi everyone!!
Making this thread as straight forward as possible. This is just a question, specially for those who experienced the difference between the two. What do you prefer guys, a player crafted equip or a boss equip drop of the same weapon/armor etc.?

For example: Which is better
Berserker Blade - Boss Drop
Berserker Blade - DPS Craft (str%crtdmg%crtdmg)

Doesn't have to stick to the mentioned example above, you may include anything that you experienced is way more better. Hope to get your response!!

It depends. Sometimes boss items drop better NPC / crated items.

Like this, The MD at Mezzy is better Boss dropped then crafted or NPC blacksmith.

But, A Bowgun like Empress is better player crafted then boss dropped because of C1010107.

 

Cool sir! Do you prefer C1010107 for most of your equips instead of the boss drop items? as that is my preference too.

 

Nah. I only use a armor and bowgun, or well, C999 equipment. I only use the boss Drop MD for farming. I'm not s big fan using Boss gears, but they are good if you can't afford player made gears.

 

I totally agree. Wondering if a Berserker Blade boss drop is better than the player crafted one. Focusing too much with my 2hand

 

it depends on the stats you are after.. for example, killer coat (boss) has high crt rate (+10) but aspd +10%, dodge +10%... good for 2h maybe?
crafted NPC may also be good i.e. killer coat crt rate (+5; less than boss drop) but aspd +20%, dodge +20%... maybe good for dual sword?
player crafted... you can customise what ever stats you like IF you have a good amount of potential.. so... i dont think theres one thats better than the other... just whatever floats your boat!
