    I agree with you, bit I sorta think Naruto is boring... and Dragon Ball, since they are quite old and...what's the word...Not enough action? Something like that. They should replace it with Sword Art online and Fairy Tail :)

    Many people who aren't satisfied with their own life look for that "other-world" experience such as isekai and other stuff like SAO. SAO is the most relatable one as everyone is a gamer. People would like to put themselves in Kirito/Asuna's shoes because it's something that could possibly happen in the near-ish future, as it's based on technology and not magic.
    If I were given the choice to be put into such a death game like SAO, I'd probably say yes without hesitation. Many people look to MMOs as an outlet and escape from reality, and SAO takes that to the extreme
