Why there are no Tanks oO

I dnt need a tank 99% of the time, so I'd prefer bks tank, he can just stand around

If u cant hold roga in place long enough for mages to storm effectively, and survive doing so, then yah really arent a tank.... having ur leech draw aggro and then running in a circle certainly isnt tanking, and also I would love to see you get to 11k hp without putting any points in vit

 

Then you want mine, I can contribute to anything and everything. Break/Atk/Tank/Support.
Can't Tank multiple Mini bosses though. I can however kill individual ones on my own with much effort. (Still trying to figure out the cheating scum Cassy.)

 

It's certainly not impossible. If I wanted to, theoretically, I could probably get a vit-less tank to 11k with all the buffs that exist. Like that new 2h sword, %hp armor, vita plus, shield buffs and xtals, etc. It's not impossible, just impractical.

Now tell me which one gives any HP boost there.
I'm guessing you pulled your data from Mugami's stat chart, which was based off on a Lv30 character.

Make a new character now and put all the emblem points to Vit. It will give way less than 10HP per point.

 

.... by the time ur able to hit 11k though, bosses will be doing wayyyyy more than that

 

...... Hp gear based off of.... hp percent..... and therefore ur scaling will be wayyyyyy behind the curve of wat a tank needs... as we get further on in the game, all tanks without vit will be left in the dust survivability-wise

 

Just out of curiosity Koko, I see you dislike VIT so I wanted to ask what stat will you max after level 95 when your LCK is capped?

 

And again, if u can tank 4 gs at a time without them looking at anyone else in ur pt for a second, and without using revs or wasting mp casting heal spells, feel free to tell me I am wrong, until then, its a priest with provoke

 

I think mages are the best class and tanks .

 

Well dex should be good if what you want is to hit too, but considering the low hp, luck + agility is the way to go because this mix really sums up to your evading chances better than luck with dex.

Guys, let us go back to the basic role of a Tank. What does a Tank do and what role does it fill in a party?

• Attract attention of mobs and bosses, by creating lots of aggro
• Survive and hold the mobs and bosses attention as long as possible
• For Guard Tank: Taking hits and sponging the damage (Guard). It can mitigate damages taken via the use of Def and Buffs
• For Dodge/Evasion Tank: Dodge/Evade to avoid taking damage as much as possible

A Tank's build can come in various forms, as long as the first 2 primary objectives/roles above are met.
Examples:

• It can be a Priest with high Guard Rate, using heals and buffs to sustain it's survivability.
• It can also be a 1H+Shield with high Vit, high Def, high hp regen, using Mini Heal and buffs to sponge the damages taken.
• It can also be a 1H+ Shield with low or mid-level hp, high dodge and/or evasion, high hp regen + mp regen capabilities and using Mini Heal and/or Bless

So, can one say a Tank cannot use Healing skills and Revs?

With that much HP, u have fighter's high? Coz I bet u regenerated like 50-70 HP each second.

Even, there is a tank.
DPS should know what a minimal HP they should have on certain boss, I believed.
At least, can survive from one boss normal hit. Dead = 0DPS = useless DPS in my PoV.
Vita plus play well with this role.
