Make a t3 magic dps build with meteor. Go ahead, ill wait.

Also, skills like blizzard and lightening could use some minor tweaks to make them workable later in the game but as they are now they are just okish.

Blizzard places the AoE on the spot the target is when the command was issued, if the target moves, RIP.

Lightening... i think the skill should be changed to be a magic attack dependent on the casters weapon element and should be passively cast by the cat with a cooldown of 5s or have a skill which stops the cat casting, either way, its not a costly skill to get but its just meh. It is ok for its level at which you get it tho, could work as a combo filler in later levels, eg:
Wall, Lightening (smite), Impact (consec), Finale (smite), stone barrier (consec)

Mana crystal and meteor and the cat AI are the real shitty parts of this skill tree with the AI making the whole thing nearly useless in later AoE boss spamming levels.

Obviously the tree is incomplete and I wouldn’t be surprised that the tier 4 additions would rectify these issues, tbh I like blizzard as is it’s aoe is wider than storm and combo tag storm > blizzard (smite) I end up with an second residual attack that does the same amount of dmg as storm with a wider aoe and longer attack time. My only problem is that many don’t understand it and are not acceptable of it when players use it in farm parties. Talking from experience here btw got kicked because wither they can’t see or recognize the animations, despite the fact I 1 shot mobs with it xd. Anyway to get back on topic imo abismo always have some idea what direction they are going but we can only see it in pieces because it’s released in pieces so I will wait and see for tier 4 to fully judge the wizzard tree.

I'd love to see what plan they have for meteor, a skill that attacks outside the god damn map. Dunno how they gonna fix mana crystal either since it only restores 300 MP, can only be placed once and has an dumb cat AI to work with. Lightening is meh at best, but its not a bad skill because of the 0 MP cost so its uses are versatile.

Not just blizzard, there are a lot of other skills that need work. Blizzard is good but could use a slow ailment for later levels.

This tree is good for beginners who have yet to unlock t4 skills. I think the damage is at par with other t2 skills ( i did not include t3 because meteor sux so bad).

I love the animations for the skills and the cat is super cute...But I’m just a little confused why it’s there? It’s called wizard skills so it’d make more sense for the player to wield the magic to me. Plus the skills could take effect so much faster that way and you wouldn’t have to worry about the cat despawning or being hit.

I think there are quite a few potentially nice skills though ^^ an ally’s stone barrier saved me from dying from that dreaded Venena ball a couple times. but meteor...I don’t get it. The damage doesnt seem great even if all 3 hit the target. And most of the time for me absolutely none land on the enemy. And it takes so long just for all meteors to hit the ground. I’m excited to see what the tier 4 skills will bring though.

They're nice to have, but not necessarily game changing. The ailments are useful for some bosses, stoneskin saved my bacon lot of times and blizzard is wonderful for pulling mobs. I haven't found a use for mana since most dps carry decoy. Meteor just sucks big time.

An interesting mechanic that wizzard skills have his skill interruption something I wish all skill trees have tbh esp mage for finale xdd. However I can’t shake the feeling that all these mediocre skills can add to a spell counter of some sort for a stronger spell/ skill just like the tier 4 skills for katana. It sounds like an long shot but there must be a valid reason why that mechanic is there for wizards skill alone

Meteor combines the damage of staff Blast with the 100% ailment and radius of MD Blast. the cast time appears to be the same, can't be shortened but doesn't occupy you. it hits 3 times, but the hit rate is only about 30%.

i still prefer Blast for being more reliable, but i guess Meteor could make a nice combo ender if the combo count is 3+.

The only thing that seems useful for me is Blizzard and Stone Skin.
Stone skin seems good for tanks, but sadly its impossible to use it by yourself except staff tank

thunder is a decent ender, esp for finale smite, barely any animation, and you can still cast it even if the cat is dead as long as the buff is active

And blizzard compliments storm very well for luck mage farming and its a little bit larger than storm so more mobs lured

Stone is a fancy hp-like buff skill

Same reason why Halberd is indeed not a halberd, becuz devs use Google translator for the game. They just entered majou shoujo and Google translator show em wizzard lol
