In terms of verstality
Knucks > Guns > Staff > Ohs > Halb> Ktn> Bow > 2hs > DS.

 

Don't think its not that supports arent appreciated, its just that a full support isnt really needed. Honestly all u really need Protection/Aegis with Gloria defensive wise and if your party is still dropping like flies nothing is going to save them anyways.

These are currently the weapon builds that are not getting any attention by players at all imo.
> Katana+Dagger. It's just bad all around. The loss of Two-Handed Skill bonuses is too big :V
> Bow+Katana is essentially a CF archer that also use Katana active skills with no downsides
> Knucks+Dagger has gotten a huge boost thanks to Assassin Skills IMO.

 

I use Bow + Katana, ever since it became a thing because no one else plays it It's actually very good as both a CF Archer and a Tenryu/Garyou spammer.

And there are just a lot of things that dont get much attention: Magic: Burst, Chronos Drive, Rush, Support Skill Tree in general, Secret Chase Attack.

And the worst class imo would be Mages, magic skills are more likely to fall flat nowadays than a pure Shining Cross or DT.

 

For me, md as main weapon.
The only viable use is for storming, which also fall flats when it comes to high lvl mob (Overtaken by Hb luk)

more reasons for a full support character on the team when others drop like flies, max the first aid and with 2k mp, you can revive your team mate in seconds.

And the buffs from support skill trees are powerful with equally powerful downside... none of them are worth it when you're in attack role (exemption of breave heart for mages... cause magic never misses).... not to mention the aggro you'll be reeling in everytime you cast any of those support skills.

 

Support doesn’t get love In toram let’s be honest, not many players and I assume new players will pt with a full support char unless they have experienced battle with one, also the structure of all builds support has no place tbh even with the new skills I just don’t see support being viable

 

I played pure support as my main and I've never experienced being kicked out of any parties I've been in just for doing my thing. The only times I ever get kicked is because connection error that takes me 5 minutes to login lol.

A pure support is very useful with Miniboss fights, and there are a few bosses I can say that they're really needed. It all depends on the Pure Support player's experience and ability to quickly adapt to boss patterns.

Pure support class isn't worse per se, its a gameplay that is just very different from any attacking class.

I'll just drop the little reason why I think bowtana is terrible (unless you want a pure solo character)

-it's harder to activate shuk because of your long range auto attack (but decoy)

- I ran tests and without the 2h passive your damage IS HALVED for all katana skills

-you lose your easy access to element since you have to use a katana unless you are stoopid rich and get a bunch of good ele bows

-you have to split your xtal slots between odelons and other damage boosting xtals and cf has no benefit from unsheathed

The only benefit I could see from bowtana is being able to armor break with snipe for Gary even when you are on the zanno buff as well as a pdef in the form of zanti

 

Decoy + Kairiki + Tenryu buff = Fastest MP recharging at Longer Range
You can do much more in battle than a normal bow would, specifically on bosses that are archer hostile
You dont need to invest into many crit% gears if you use Meikyo for the +65 crit
Tenryu Garyou is a way to get some good damage in when CF isnt a great option
Balanced utility in battle from Tanking to Support with good DPS capability
Works well in a lot of party compositions
Damage may not be high, but not as frail as a normal bow character would be with Zentei and Magadachi (Dead DPS is No DPS)

 

A lot of people say Knuckles. Thing is, Knuckles have one thing over the rest: Fun ways to build.
Everything else has a set way of building which makes it better than any other way. They all have a defined meta, and straying from it would be suicide. However, Knuckles dont exactly have that. They're in this realm of so underused that builds are plentiful, new, and you can build fairly freely.
Wanna use a long range aura buffer? Knuckles can do that with Chariot and Brave Aura, then use Power Wave amd Long Range to increase Damage
Want to be up close and personal? Rush, Chariot, P.Def with a shield after using FTS (your party members can suck it)

I'd say Mage. Because Burst has a dumb mechanic and Finale got nerfed to shit and the fact its so fucking boring (impact>finale>ender), I wouldn't make it anymore. Not until the new damage formulas come anyways

Yeah, knuckles have tons of varieties

Sword fu = when you want to go crouching tiger hidden dragon, armor breaking capabilities along woth buster sword for heal, CHARIOT then go trigerslash and rampage for MP

Staff fu = basically you'll be like a kid who treats Goku like Eddy Gordo on Tekken, debilitate your opponents up close or far away then spam CHARIOT like a kamehameha 2-3 times, the. Mp charge and maximizer for another full mp, RINSE AND REPEAT

What I like about this is unlike mages (which their ulitmate skill takes 3 seconds), chariot works once the range is within 12 meters or less amd while moving. You heard me right, what they lack on power compared to mages, they make it up for versitility which makes them very dangerous to say the least

GUN FU = same shit except that it has infinite mana supply thanks to decoy and they can spam CHARIOT while waiting for Crossfire. Imagine chariot followed by a fully charged crossfire... you get the picture

 

Well, first thing first we need to list delectable builds that fair amount of people actually use, as Toram is basically a classless mmo. As such its considerably harder to look for the 'worst' class in comparison to the best one. We also need to categorize the stuff that you're looking for. I'd say it's better to list them from the easiest to play to the hardest, and then weighing the benefits and the potential of the said builds. The type of battlefield and battlestyle also needs to be considered.

 

Lets cut the BS! Every class will look worse if you're with this type of grind
