Zantei 155 DEX>STR need some enlightment

i have been play for 60 days.
using samurai DEX. Zantei. but i figure that i was lack.
may i ask for your guide.

My Problem : why My damage is so LOW ? only about 100.000 everytime i do zantei ? what did i do wrong ?

STR gives CDMG (50cdmg at 255), dex 155 is needed just to increase a large amount of atk since dex gives more atk than str.

Also, info on combo is kinda needed if possible. Proration and other variables could affect as well.

 

Ah sorry long texts figgle my brain, the problem here is you're using two save tags

Try removing flash blast's save tag and replace it with cons

Skills after save tag have a damage penalty ranging from 60% > 40% > 20%

All your equips/stats/skills look good and low damage can also mean due to proration

Also you could put zantei on the 3rd/4th combo slot after the skill with the save tag for maximum damage output

Example:
Pulse blade > warcry(save) > kariki (cons) > meikyo (cons) > impact (cons) > zantei (smite) > combo ender

or

Magic impact > zantei (smite) > combo ender

These are just examples/templates you don't really need to follow them

 

2 save @_@, going by that combo, ur zantei only hits for 110% dmg (40% reduction due to save) dont know how that will work properly with 2 saves but ... maybe typo?

 

will try it against Odelon, will update it in about 30 minutes -1 hour. since i need to see the damage.

 

If you're lvl 155 why aren't you using lvl 4 skills like tenryuu? tenryuu+magadachi deals the same damage as zantei's counter and you don't need to parry to do it

 

playstyle preference (most likely reason) also tenryuu + magadachi requires better timing and execution since u need magadachi to land an attack not parry with it, also tenryuu stacking is also time eating that it takes awhile to reach the dmg dealt by zantei ( if tenryuu alone, if with enhanced magadachi, only a few tenryuu). Also a better to note is the mp, he aint using ifrid so it will tax his mana alot, but sukichi auto can fix it, but again time wasting. Also proration wise if u use zantei ( only 1 patk, 2 for his combo) than tenryuu.

What diff did you do on iconos? And did you notice your damage go up? Also just to confirm did all of these crit?

 

well, because i like zantei, cant explain about it. it was... i just like it. and i see other play was, long and complicated, while zantei, just wait the right moment, and unleash it. done. no need to count this and that.

 

Hard. yes, about 150% more damage, usually i only can do 20-50K / zantei, about Don yeti i only can say "Holy Mother riding bicycle" (what did i just see... beautiful number indeed. the HIGHEST number since i play this game) but why Mage and other class can do 500k easily. when i have the best (i can get) Equipment. especially that damn mage finale so OP, 1.5M (sorry for all mage, this is just my honest opinion) they even can say "LFP FINALE" like that... and ridicule me 155 i only 100 something weak samurai.

 

Then your problem is solved and about that it's because they're "mages". Also tier 4 skills outclass tier 3 skills now I know how you feel

If you do get a reset book in the future you could get the tier 4 skills but your chances of outdamaging finale mages are slim

Note: There's a new katana called Caro Tesla with a base atk of 70 or 80 can't remember you can get that if you want more dmg

 

sooo the best i can get is 300k+ ? got any advise to make the number up ? please ? all my hard work to get those equipment is only 300k++ damage worth... (desperate)

 

http://toramonline.com/index.php?threads/why-katanas-are-not-that-popular.40306/page-2#post-426363 One of the users here posted a pic of his tenryu damage and it reached more than 1m in total, I still think tenryuu+magadachi is easier to use, I was also a zantei user before the tier 4 skills came out and one of the biggest problems with it was when you're fighting a boss and one of your party members tumble/stuns/flinches it, completely ruins zantei

 

agree to the bone... i hate it when they do that, well if it before FB/2Break i have no objection, but they do that till the end. (sigh).
ok, i will research that in my free time. while stacking orbs to 30.

 

Your damage can come from your equipment, stats, proration, skills and combo

Extra info : Elemental weapons can outclass +S fullcrit weapons even if it's just a kuro momiji
