Hero Sword Ideas

Has anybody found a work around for the -9999 asps? The weapon seems like it might be good in short boss battles where u can mp charge outside of battle. Or I know we can just take md sub and use mp charge+maximizer but that doesn’t feel very warrior like.

 

Could maybe take wcos instead for mp recovery but thats hard to use mid-fight so i think just maximise outside, plus resonance inside battle

 

Maximizer instant cast only works on staff and md tho

 

So yeah, “fairy hero” mode only. Make it the strongest waifu in town

 

I'd use the Hero Sword as the offhanded weapon of a DW. It's currently the strongest 1h sword, so it should the most good on a max Agi build, ironically.

 

The sword makes great mana... 500 per sword.

 

Even with max agi it should be difficult to surpass the -aspd

 

Lol seems that might be all it’s good for. It’s hard to believe that this is the sword version of Queen staff though. One is godlike the other is garbage.

Will be very strong in fact once we get our tier 4 skills like other classes I've never ever once jumped classes since dws release I have full faith ( sorry screw final etc )

 

I thought stats didn't apply to the offhand of a Duel Wielder, except for Atk, Stability, and Element. Am I incorrect? Agi does give the greatest boost to the offhand sword, so the large Atk stat for the offhand sword of an Agi DW would seem to inherently resonate the most.

Hero sword + GSW is your only way. It is usable yes. As for dw hero sword mainhand without gsw, I wanna see how slow your animation looks like considering the fact that dw animation is innately slow to bwgin with. As for dw hero sword subhand, it's a bad subhand because it's only 70% substab

 

I don't understand GSW max stack only gives 900aspd, right?

 

Enjoy or not but hero sword is not useless on dw/ds builds all depends on your style

Yes gsw 3 stacks gives 900 aspd that can be converted into 5% motionspeed and gsw 3 stacks also bypasses aspd by giving 30% motionspeed in total.

 

The animation is still ok. What's not ok is the 10 seconds auto attack interval. Not good for ampr users.

 

Nice it works well if u use long combos

 

You can try and use rampage along with hero sword too cause iirc, rampage resets every negative stats to 0. I dunno if it's also applicable to aspd.
