Imaging Online: The game - Prologue: Vrmmorpg

He felt how his view got about one meter shorter, how his sense of smell and hearing got better and how he had placed his four feets at the cold, uneven and wet stone floor.

Now focusing on getting himself out of this cave he turned around to smell fresh air coming in from the hole above him that he had fallen from about an hour ago.

His name is Hiro Gustavsson and he's a newly turned 18 high school student. Hiro has an height of about 1.82 meters, black hair, crystal blue eyes and a face that could be called a normal face, not to beautiful or ugly. He's the type of person that studies a lot for appearance, inside he is a vivid gamer. His family consist of a little sister called Kira a mother and a father. His mother is Japanese and is called Sakura while his father is Swedish and is called Henrik. He has lived in Japan until he turned 16 and then he moved to Gothenburg, Sweden. He's known both the Japanese and Swedish language since birth. In Japan everyone thought he had a weird last name, but he didn't get bullied because of it, quite contrary he was popular because of it.

The year is 2027 and the first virtual reality gear has come out. People can now talk to each other face to face without having to travel long distances. Games have come out in a fast pace but the most popular yet is the first one, Imagine Online. You can choose yourself what kind of build you want and what kind of magic to use. There is no skill scrolls where you can get your skills but you have to create them yourself. The only things players can't do is to change/make the map, create npc, create a new race(only able chose one of those that exists) and change the percentage of the pain inducer to a max of 70%. Unlike older 3D, 2D games there is no background music to make it more realistic than game like.

Hiro was standing in front of the gaming store in his neighborhood with his wallet securely in his right hand.The swedish summer was perfect for standing in line, and it is perfect that the game was released on his summer holiday. It was 20 minutes left before he could enter the store to get his new virtual gear and the game called Imagine Online. It was soon noon and the Swedish servers would open about 2 hours from now together with the international servers. So far there have only been servers open in Japan, Korea, China and North America.

Hiro had researched about the game beforehand, he knew all the things that was necessary to know but yet wouldn't affect his gameplay. He knew that here where seven races in total, humans, beast, elemental spirits, elves, fairies, dwarfs and celestians(angels). There is only one type of humans, elves, fairies and dwarfs while there is different types for the others. Beast could range from vampires (yeah vampires counts as beasts vampire=bat) to werewolves, you can choose the element of elemental spirits and celestians differs on the god their under.

The world in Imagine Online is called Almeria and have 2 known continents, the North and the South continent. It also has five countries Mior, Lativase, Pestrick, Loin and Shion. Mior is the land of the dwarfs, Lativase is the land of the elves, Pestrick is the land of the beast, Loin is the land of the humans and Shion is the land of the celestials, the elemental spirits and the fairies. Even though each race has their own country(if you don't count the celestials, the elementals and the fairies who share) you can choose to start in any country's capital.

Hiro arrived at the counter after 30 minutes and bought his virtual gear after stepping aside to some kind of changing room, there he got asked to take of his clothes so that they could do a full body scan. He thought it was kind of embarrassing as he stood there nude getting scanned by a 3D camera. As he stepped out on the sidewalk he suddenly felt really hungry and hurriedly made his way home.

The time was near two o'clock when he finally was able to start up Imagine Online. It was said that the servers would open exactly 14:00. He started the gear and said:

"Imagine" and with that his world turned white.

Thought of that, but because each of the chaps after the Prologue have a higher chance to aquire the wrath of the god of max amount of rows, I decided against it.

Well to be honest I thought of the name from kojinki no wordmaster a light novel with a Manga adaption. The protagonist name is Hiro and his name is often misunderstood as hero.
