Minimum Potential: 21
Step 1: add dark+2% (1pot left)
Step 2: add atk-7%, p.pierce-3%, acc-7, acc-3% (219pot left)
Step 3: add int+13, to dark+13% (-26=100%)

Minimum Potential: 60
Step 1: add matk+2% (20pot left)
Step 2: add atk-7%, p.pierce-3%, acc-7 (194pot left)
Step 3: add int+13, to dark+13% (-88=25%)

Minimum Potential: 60
Step 1: add matk+1% (40pot left)
Step 2: add atk-7%, p.pierce-3%, acc-7 (214pot left)
Step 3: add int+13, to dark+13% (-68=56%)

wow! Thanks! Vocal.. I wonder how u do the calculation. I still dont get it. How and when to nega stat, how many step we need... Etc.. How u make that formula fast?

if there is 3 positive stat, u will normally need 3neg stat to get high success rate, basically just fill the rest of the slot with neg stats ^^
for arm common neg stats: acc-7, matk-7% (both give 42pot), acc-3%, m.pierce-3% (both give 36pot)
for weapon common neg stats: def-7%, mdef-7%, dodge-7, hprec-7%, mprec-7 (all gives 42pot)

Wyrix, Vocal and Laxus recognized a stat process pattern after testing different ways to add stats is how they got the step by step formulas for results ^^

 

I see! I dont mean to push forward. Only express my curipsity. >_< huhuhu.. Indeed there's a pattern that i dont see in the stat.

 

in general:
u need 1-2step for inputing negs
u need 1step for final modify
u need 1-many step for inputing stats to put potential penalty stats (aka stats in the same group), so that u wont get huge potential penalty when u stat them together. potential penalty stats needs to be put before negs (normally), so negs can get the max potential benefit from potential penalty.

normally the 2nd last step u would want it to have as high pot as possible, because higher pot=higher success rate.
sometimes when all stats have potential penalty, in that case ull have to try all methods possible to get the highest success rate.
and lastly make sure that there is one slot unfilled at the last step, else u wont be able to modify the last step to the stats you want.

Its understandable. Thanks! I get help alot by this thread. Bassicly what i do is only follow step u provide. And I got in curiosity, xfor what should I do if I meet stat that idk the formula. That's why Ilm wondering about the process.

Step 1: add cdmg+1% (27pot left)
Step 2: add cdmg+1, modify 7 times, each time adding +1, to end with cdmg+8 (3pot left)
Step 3: add crit+1 (2pot left)
Step 4: add crit+1% (1pot left)
Step 5: matk-7% (76pot left)
Step 6: modify crit 12 times, each time adding +1, to end with crit+13 (64pot left)
Step 7: modify crit% 12 times, each time adding +1, to end with crit+13% (52pot left)
Step 8: add acc-7, cdmg+7%, cdmg+13 (-7=99%)

 

u can try this software for finding success rate of any stat or try diffrent stats as u want even for +14 stat and check its mats too(Ive to update it ) but right now it is only for windows pc.
like for full crit stat +14 u need 33390 mana

not yet but someone told me that it will be out within next 2 weeeks
