Would it be good to give them spina, strong weapons, or neither??

 

dont spoonfeed them. they would think that they are privileged and will be lazy. eagles push their young off the nest for them to learn to fly.

Well, maybe giving some old/trash equips that u don't really use anymore should be fine. After all, this is a multiplayer game, people are meant to help one another

Super linear and it lost its charm tbh
York was fun, tank had to play smart and be prepared to act appropriately
Now? Just have a tank(good tank) sit and soak up damage

It's most likely gonna end up as a waste. A lot of newbies doesn't even last that long. I remember giving 1 of my guildmates FC16 weapon and armor, then he just quit after several days. Didn't even gift the items back.

 

While I often give away randon crafts I never give out spina.. only because I don't have any. If per chance I had some by days end I would find a way to spend it. Apps, dyes, random crap I don't need or use.. nothing is safe!

Yeah I agree to some extent.. thats why I keep myself occupied with uncommon builds. As I grow new fun characters I find it amazing how many people don't have tier 4 skills. Although it has always been an arms race for tier 4 skills I still see random experiments in the wild. Most recent I encountered was a bg shield, he/she had ailments pouring out of all of York's orifices. While not a tank it had soo much aggro while consistently getting 3rd place attacker rank. This build has gotten me to rethink my future bg tank..

I have ever increasing goals while playing this game. My main one is to have all weapon types that could solo bosses. I also want OP pets that could solo chapters 1- 5 bosses with a little support from my support mage.

 

Same this is the reason why begging for spina is more fun now than farming bosses...

It's my new hobby~ despite the verbal abuse, digging for those kind peeps feels rewarding, but sadly all of these "gems" already have guilds that they wont let go...

bg shield and boss has a lot of ailments all the time?
stun, slow, tumble(power shot?), blind, paralyze, lethargy are all physical skills. rip proration.

And i give 250 mp xtals too then they can storm till 150 lvl

Not a spammer.. the person would have been kicked for murdering proration early on if it was a spammer. It also didn't use guardian or the common aggro grabbing skills.

 

Dont give nothing to newbies. Just try help by pt farms or leveling and sharing your experience. The first goal of any newbie must be build a char and work hard for the gears. They will grown as lazy asses if get free things.

 

I rarely get whispered by newbies, and I've almost never met newbies who ask for spina/equips. For the newbies that don't, I usually help them do a bit of MQ and share my knowledge. You shouldn't give them too much spina or equips that are too good, just give them old gear or some starting spina. And yes, most newbies don't stay for long in Toram.

It's just that before lv4 skills came out, killing a boss required good teamwork and strategy. Nowadays you just get someone to hold aggro and you spam CF/Finale which doesn't need that much thinking. CF just need to avoid getting hit, Finale only need Sneak attack before it and keeping your distance. And bam, suddenly boss dies. The game also gets pretty boring because when there's an event boss, people will only look for tank, CF and Finale users. As of now I kinda lost interest in Toram, just gonna wait till they release a new MQ. And then lose interest again probably. Hopefully it won't become an endless cycle for me cause I like this game.

 

Then how do you maintain both aggro and ailments without using aggro skills? And bg has a lower proc rate for ailment than bow...

 

Not sure.. I was busy doing my own thing. All I saw were ailments after ailment and few were repeats.

 

a much better help is help them at their MQ then give advice on what class they should start with and what stats to put.
well if your a rich guy, give them some spina also and said to them that spend that wisely
