1h sword plus dagger?

I never messed wit swords on my dagger build I used bow guns. But the concept would be the same I guess, max Throw Dagger for the 0mp cost, max dagger passives,
If you're planning to just use dagger passives for added damage then of course max dex is the way to go with a potential dex/crit. The new Storm Dagger is amazing.. I'm interested to see how it would turn out I might make a new dagger build.

 

The new dagger is awesome. lvl 44...100 dex rest on crit (so about 19points i think?) and I see an increase in my crits as well as evades.

But it still doesnt add base atk, but only the stats.
So if im correct, i'll need to add Hidden Arms for the increase in base atk as people have been saying.

e.g.
to get Storm Daggers Base atk 20....add skill (Hidden Arms) = base atk increase by 20. (and potentially more if Hidden Arm increase more atk?)

 

As a warrior if you want to boost your atkspd via xtal you really need the Golden Skeleton crystal. The mino xtal goes off of base atkspeed which is going to be low for a warrior and only increase your atkspd maybe 10-15 points. Also the hp% is off of base hp so unless you have a high vit you will only get maybe 50-60hp.

From my experience with daggers the damage of both the skills and the hidden arm are garbage. The one plus daggers have is the extra stats they can give, which coupled with light armor and light armor mastery can help give you a good boost to atk speed and evasion. As a skill tree it is not really worth investing because the gains are so minimal, 7-14dmg maybe minimal, and the skills do not scale very well.

 

Perhap in the future where stronger dagger might make it more worth investing... for now...is abit no point adding skill point to dagger tree

 

Ah i see, didnt know that about Mino xtals? And tbh i wont be investing into dagger skills yet anyway...or at all...i wanted dagger for the extra stats and to fill my secondary slot lol. Was just wondering about the atk xD

yeh its ashame tho, GS xtal -10% hp too...

And just wondering, does mastering Light Armour Skill give extra boost in atk speed + evasion? That's what it sounds like...if you can confirm that would be appreciated ^^

 

For the -10%hp from GS xtal it is only off your base hp too. So if your base hp with stats is 400 you will only lose 40hp, even if your hp was 1400 due to hp boost from survival skills. The 10hp loss would only be a big hit if you were a pure vit build.

Mastering light armor does increase the evasion chance when wearing it. Hard to give an exact % since we can't see that stat anywhere but probably up to 15% people have said. The atk speed boost is only from the armor being remodeled to light. No additional bonus from the skills.

 

Ive been testing sword dagger atm and current @ lvl 42. Full dex gatling storm hits 10x and if it crits hits 900+ i usually use it on combo. Astute (to get crit buff so i can make it gatling crits)> gatling > trigger.

Anyone here know what stat affects dagger skills? Anyone tried str or agi with it?

It seems like dagger is good for range due to volg xtal and bow passive inc dmge when 8m away from the target. Dagger range is 8m + its a range skill.
