1mp storm cast here is the pic good for farming

 

I use a similar combo, the only difference is I use bless at the end and the two dagger skills are fllow by one another but it costs 2mp bars and I think it has higher dmg than this combo due to the fact that storms dmg will be reduce by having save before it

 

It balences out well at normal damage iv been noticing.

 

Mana Saver [100MP] Storm combo in my Angelus (Mage) build is:
Sonic Wave > Impact (save) > Storm (smite) > Smash (consecutive)

Havent you guys noticed that combos arent worth crap? Like Im sorry, I dont mean to be offensive... But 80% of the time either combos dont trigger, or they dont complete. And no, it's not because of flinch or tumble. It's a glitch in the game mechanic itself. So Comboes are dead. sorry.

 

So what do you suggest? To use the raw skills only?

 

Actually ........ Yes. untill they fix it. When in Boss battles.... You need every single millisecond of concentration. If you lose focus, you could endanger yourself of your team. Relying on Combos will only do just that.... Make you lose focus.

Why? because you nail a button expecting a combo to trigger. And what happens? it doesn't. And you lose precious time waiting for somthing that will nver happen.

So in short, at least until they fix this issue.... Yes... I would use raw skills.

 

combos now only wont trigger if you have like magic skills and shield skill in your combo but your not wearing a shield... combo wont trigger that way

 

It's either you suck at doing combos or you're doing something wrong in the combo.

either U use IOS/Apple or U just don't get how combos work xD
I'm only using combos otherwise I wouldn't be able to use snipe at all (not enough max mp)
*some skills only activate if you R close enough

 

In all fairness, I could in fact be doing something wrong. And no I m on Android 5.0.

On my old mage, I would set combos (No longer than 3 parts) such as Wall>(Swift)Blast>(Swift)MP chrarge

9 times out of ten, either it wouln't trigger at all or no MP charge.
Same with Magic: Arrows>Magic:Wall>Magic:Blast

And I was using Magician's ring. With MP boost maxed.

It seems like they work better since the update, but even now... Holy Fist>Impact works every time unless no MP

Impact> (Swift) Storm Triggers maybe 6 times out of 10. Often triggering storm after I have moved over 3m after sitting still doing nothing for a good .5-1 sec

I also notice when storm doesnt trigger, And I use Raw Storm skill next, it still is effected by (Swift) effect.

I don't know. My new 1H PW Magic Warrior only has Hard hit and Astute atm (I plan on getting trigger slash) and it seems that Hard Hit > Astute works 100% of the time. Perhaps it's mage skills? maybe I jumped the gun because I only had a mage? I don't know.... Im sort of confused.

Anyone else have these problems/? Or have noticed anything of the sort?

 

From what I c here is that u use different range skills in the combo, I assume u r just not close enough to *for example cast storm (8m) ^^

 

Very well could have been. I dont have much issue on my Magic Sword.

 

Bc u probably fight in meele with it and any skill activated in meele

 

There are a few cases in which the combo does not trigger:

• You're not within the range of the skill being used
• You don't have any MP left
• The targeted monster died before the whole combo is done
• When flinched/tumbled/stunned

 

From what I read, your combos may not have triggered because target died or you are too far.

For Impact Storm to work, you can try setting auto target to far, so your Impact won't kill the target before the target gets killed by Impact.

Blast has a shorter range and 4 sec channel time after wall, so maybe you get hit out of your combo?

I never had any problems with combos and would gladly help you build yours ^^
