So I have a few questions to people that make toram or any gaming videos in general:-
--What screen recorder do you use/prefer?
--What video editor do you use/prefer?
--Do you prefer editing on a phone or on a PC? And why?
--If you add custom music/SFX to your videos from where do you download/buy them?

I am currently using the videoshow editor from play store and honestly I am sick of it. Wanna upload some more test vids as soon as I am free and get more time but cant think of a good software/app.
It seems editors for PC have much more options and variety of effects but difficult to use. I have no idea how to add them or do anything in general.
Also my PC being of the medieval era it takes 30mins just to get the recorded videos from my phone to the PC.
Also also I am currently using the AZ recorder and the thing makes the annoying black bars on the top and bottom after recordings done which after editing results in a screen smaller than the youtube player window any suggestion to avoiding that or any other recorder?

    -Mobizen
    -InShot and/or Videoshop
-Phone, though editing on a PC would probably ve better.
-I don't use sound effects, but if I need music I just download NCS (No Copyright Sounds) music or Toram BGMs.

    Good Question...
    - OBS (Open Broadcaster Software)
You'll have to mess around with the settings so that it fits for your P.C.

If you check my Youtube you'll notice some vids have better quality than the other mostly due to me messing around with the settings.
    - Filmora,
I'm sure there's better ones to use but Filmore is quite easy once you get a feel for it. BUT IT"S FREE~!! You'll need to do a few things to get full access to it so there's no watermarks. You can like youtube it to figure out how to get full access/register/get the watermark off it Has an easy mode which basically does all the editing, filtering, adding elements and such.

    - Personally either or but P.C more easier since there's more tools to you can use.
    - Music/sound effects I just download or use Youtube then Youtube >> MP3 converter.

    - mobizen (when I record Android games) OBS (PC games)
    - videopad video editor and occasionally windows movie maker.(PC)
    - Prefer PC since they usually have more functions and I have an easier time adding soundtracks and such.
    - I usually convert into mp3 from YouTube or use an app called ensemble composer pro to write of the music score with chosen instruments. Of course most of the songs from YouTube are no copyright.

    in theory:

    mobizen
    OpenShot
    computer (obviously)
toram music or something converted from youtube

i would record with music off but sound on, so the inserted music would blend like the actual in-game music.
and if it is toram music, i would not use the original tune of that map.
    *massive plot twist*

Can we get copyright strike on youtube even if our videos are not monetized?

For screen recording, I lean towards OBS (Open Broadcaster Software); it's quite powerful and free. As for video editing, I'm a big fan of Adobe Premiere Pro on my PC - the features and precision are excellent. I usually prefer editing on a PC over a phone due to the larger screen and better processing power. If you're adding custom music/SFX, I suggest checking out sites like Epidemic Sound or AudioJungle, which have a wealth of options and legal tracks for purchase.
