Any thought on player based shop system

It's true that consignment board limit has been increased from 5 to 10 slot. But, still for a big seller, this space is not huge enough. What if we can rent a shop in sofya where u can put 30 items at the same time without tax but need to pay 1M+ per month as a monthly rent. And people who want to buy those items can directly buy from those player's shops menu not cboard. The reason why rent should be high is because to limit the system for serious merchants. What do u think about this?

 

I haven't been complaining about it-- I'm just glad there are 10 slots, rather than only 5 now-- normally that's more than enough to keep my hands full. My beef is with the TAX when selecting "everyone" -- sometimes I feel it is too much- it really ruins the appeal, especially if your item is worth millions of spina T>T


I do like the concept though, shops would be very nice to have as an in-game function, though, there'd be hundreds if not thousands of them around if there were..

 

I would love something like this, it would make everything more personal. For now, we have to make due with setting shop in the forums. That's what I do and it has worked really well for me.

:") i would prefer if u have a 'buy' shop where peeps go to u to sell their stuff instead of u going to 30000x shops to see whether they have the stuff u need
1m+ per month is kinda cheap compared to all user+cb10% tax x-x per day for all 10item

 

So they add more doors to sofya and el scaro so you can open shop by purchasing a room/building
also u can sell out side by purchasing carriage in rugio...

I 've never imagine that. At first, I simply thought it just another menu to search certain player shop. But, if u could rent a real building or your own cart, That would be awesome. Instead of like shouting for specific armor in sofya, everyone would start to be like "visit my shop for armors or potions" and npc will start hating us and will start a demonstration to overthrow us.

 

npc can't do anything...we are faaaaarrr stronger than them and we saved toram world so if they go against us, going against whole world haha

True. if we can edit our shops like having multiple sections for armors, weaps, potions. And note that this can be used to increase the player's popularity too. Well-known shops means that there will be more player visiting your store even though there are a lot of other shops out there. We can assume that there will be fiercer battle among the merchants player for the best shop XD

10 M per month is just rip off...1M per month isn't that cheap for some merchants...they need money to produce product too..so maybe 100k per week

 

U are right. But this system is supposed to be limited to serious merchants. For casual sellers, they can still use cboard. If the price is too cheap, then there will be too much shops out there and I'm afraid that there will be a lot of people that will abuse this player's shop to use as additional storage.
Additional: 10M is just a joke tho. I still think 1M is the most fair price for a shop

 

Well, as it is a shop, the items after 3-5 days will be DISCARD automatically...

Lol XD If that's happen, then u have to remove it time to time to avoid getting discarded by ur own shop . Especially if someone open +S equips store, there will be hardly any people to buy since they're pricy. RIP +S

(but later aso caught ppl use it as storage and adds: you will not be able to remove items once u submit them on the store)

Why not just a simple Vending Mode? Just like in Aura Kingdom and Ragnarok games. XD
Where your character just stays in place, and the customers tap on you and open/view your shop (maybe if this happens, it will be located at the right sidebar where the other functions such as Party Invite & Whisper are). Then the shop interface when viewed, would look the same as when crafting items or synthesizing materials...

But oh well, a shop feature would be great.

 

That's exactly how it works here in the forums. People like to reply to their own threads to add more sections. For example, someone makes a thread that will be their shop, then replies to it immediately 2 or 3 times with the word "reserved." Then they edit those replies to make each one a different section of their shop.

It does help your popularity. Before I joined the forums, I used to sell my potions in sofya and land under development. Whenever there was a new boss, I would go out there and make shop there, selling potions to the farmers. This was back before the consignment board was introduced. It worked decently well for me, I had a few regulars and all, but my shop didn't really take off until I joined the forums and made a shop here. Now people I've never even seen in the forums recognize me in game and buy directly from me there whenever they run into me

You are right. But let's say if our generated revenue is 10M. Then, if we sell at board for that amount, we will get 9M profit and 1M reduction from tax (10%tax). Therefore, to overrun the tax, we need to generate our income more than 10M so that we will pay less for tax since there are no more tax generated after 10M revenue. Even if our total sell per month is 50M, the rent will stay same to 1M compared to pay for 5M tax.
Well, the best should be advertising our shop in forum and meet the person in game for trading process, but there are still a lot of players out there that are not in forum and time zone restriction between sellers and buyers in forum is still a problem that can't be avoided ^^

 

and how will you find enough players who get millions of spinas each month to dump them on your shop?
and if you do, how can you collect rare items worth 10m+ each month?

10m isn't easy...is it?
