asking about some stuff

hello i am new, i want to ask 2 question.

1. Is dragon tooth from halberd skill classified as short range or long range? because i level up long range damage from bow skill, and yes it increase long range dmg but it also increase my short range dmg..

2. about star gem, is it stack with our current level in normal skill menu? (e. i have lvl 5 warcry, if i have lvl 5 warcry from star gem does it make my warcry lvl 10? and if my warcry already lvl 10 but i put lvl 5 warcry from stargem does it make my warcry lvl 15?)

1. Long Range skill have trait that it will increase damage of the skills that can be casted from more than 8m distance (from the monster), thus the Long Range skill will only check if the skill can be used in long range, and wont check if the skill is casted in short range or not.
to put it simply, the damage of any skill that can be casted in long range will increase no matter the distance if you learned the LR skill.

2. The higher level one will overwrite the lower level one and wont stack, so using stargem only benefiting those who need an extra skill points and wont be useful if you think of supassing the potential of the skill (read: surpassing lv 10).

s/n: please understand that Long range skill and long range damage stat have different mechanism, LR skill will depend on the skill designed distance while LRDamage will depend on the actual distance when it being casted (at least by the time this post being made, since suzuki might change the skill mechanism later).
