Asmobino and youtube?

I remember I had watched a video that involved this girl showing people how to do specific things like level quickly, blacksmithing, etc. She monotozied her video, and recieved a Copyright mark. Now I know that companies like Mojang, and literally *any* other company but a musical situation allows people to monotize and make a few cents from the effort they put into the video. However, Asmobino is 101% against this. What do you guys think, what is your opinion on it? Do you agree with them placing copyright marks on guides/whatnot? Even if that guide attracts many more people to Toram? Example. Her videos introduced me to toram online, if she hadnt made that, i wouldn't be here.

Well some of companies that are for monetized videoes, used to be against them, so I can imagine Asobimo might loosen up a bit later.

 

I hope so. I see amazing videos of toram that take a long time to make and effort to put together, like guides. It'd be cool if those people could get some effort tabs for it. Like Pre.

 

I know who you're talking about, she's my friend. Tammy (channel was called TammyChou). She lost her videos thanks to Asobimo's anti-monetizing policy.

No she didn't, according to her she even lost her YT channel, which contained uploads from tons of other games. You can search her channel and it doesn't exist now. She got super sad and retired from Toram. @TammyC

 

Oh my gosh.. just from monetizing? That is insane!! It got removed????

 

It's understandable that the company did this. Many youtubers get there videos down for Monetizing their vids, especialy ones directing to Nintendo... ( ughhh )

I keep my videos in a folder so they won't be deleted from Youtube. I advice anyone to do this.

 

Man that's terrible.. It sucks too because even claiming that we arent taking credit doesn't work. Its the pitts.

I dont think she claimed it. She just monetized it, because she was receiving massive views. She was making money for every 100 views she got. Say she got 10k views (she easily had that), she'd get paid 10 bucks. Asmobino wasn't ok with that :/

 

nonononono. I mean did she put claims in the video or in the description that " All rights go to Toram Online and ASOBIMO" stuff
