Best DPS & Support Mage Builds?

I would like to know which mage builds are best for DPS or Support.

Precaria's Angelus build seems pretty good, but I'm not sure how it is compared to other DPS/Tank mages, nor if they would really be wanted in parties (especially for endgame).

I highly prefer long-ranged, fast/spammable combos, but I would also love to be a support mage at the same time.

Well, honestly, I guess just the type of mage that's most important or most wanted in a party for endgame bosses would be what I'll end up choosing ^_^"

 

Shield mages can certainly be the star when it comes to supporting as their shield skills provides dmg reduction and stun for the whole team , problem however is that they have a very low amount of aggro out of all types of mages so they cant really tank fairly , but shield mages can sure take alot of dmg.
The other 2 builds of mages are meant for pure dps and not support.

 

But you cant take away breakfast from my mage :v

 

The main focus of a support mage is high mp and high cspd while the main focus of dps mage is high cspd and high matk.
So cspd, mp and matk should be the main focus of your build, you dont need extremely high hp on a support mage as mages are not meant to be tankers but vit is still prefered over dex as cspd is easily obtainable by gears and such and also the new bosses seem to be long range killers.
I have a dps+support mage myself and its very similiar to the mage that you are looking for though i dont suggest blindly copying builds as the utility of various support skills is highly subjective to the boss and the situation. I suggest you look up all the possible support skills and how they work instead so that you can get better insight on how to make the best possible support dps mage.
