Best weapon for a farmer

I want to make a farmer that can help me collect all sorts of materials. For the stats,I'm gonna put 255/250 in luk and the rest in int. As for the weapon,should I choose a staff or a magic device? I checked them on coryn.club and found that the last magic device had 220 atk and the last staff had 160 atk. So,which weapon will be better for killing more mobs? A staff? Or a magic device?

 

The MD you mentioned are infamous for its horrible drop rates and has turned lots of player to depression, totally not recommended at all unless you already had one. owo

 

MD for farm.
I still use anniv md with(light,%todark,+13int) for med,nc,cassy and cloth mats
And fire element md(player craft from ifrid) for eb,metal and beast mats.
Both can 1hit nc roar,boar and jelly, refined B only.

 

255 luk only work for low level mat like NC or cassy, and before level 100 basically you just a leecher.

 

Why would it have horrible drop rates? The one I mentioned has the highest atk amongst all of the mds. With higher atk,we can defeat more monsters,right? So,can you please explain your reason for saying so?

 

Luk increases drop rates,right? Is the increase of drop rates temporary? And what about refining equipments? Will it help in refining?

 

It’s increase permanent drop rate, every 10 luk increase 1% drop rate BUT only for your own, NOT whole party!NOT whole party! NOT whole party, because it’s important that why speak 3 times XD

LUk increase 1% anti degrading rate per 10 LUk, 255 Luk is 25% anti degrading, with AD is 100%.

 

what we mean is that the highest atk MD has a very low drop from the mini boss that drops it so farming to get that weapon is going to be hard. and no, it cannot be crafted. people already used books increasing drop rate to farm it and still didnt get it. also, having a 255 luk rest int character is only for farming low hp mobs. even with the highest attack weapon refined to +s will not help you farm stronger monsters. yes, luk increases drop rates at 1% drop rate per 10 luk so having 255 luk will just give 25% drop rate. luk does not help in refining but helps in your equipment not degrading if the refining fails.

Yes below 150, 255 Luck rest Int deals very weak damage and only used to farm materials from weak monsters.

But when you reach 150, you can learn Finale and still deal huge damage even with lucklaster int(Staff user with 1 int can deal 500k damage).

Weak mobs = MD
Stronger mobs = Staff(if you can't kill monster in 1 or 2 hits with MD)

The horrible drop rate are for getting the MD, this MD are notorious enough that people start making rumors like "it won't drop if you use finale", "it doesn't drop if you use mage class", "it doesn't count as red flagged drop", etc.

 

Now only notice the MD you all talking about.....the ATK is too OP.....

 

Make sure you're not prone to heartbreak or depression before you attempt to farm that MD. owo)b

 

But it make me feel like is a Excalibur.....rare and legendary..I still won’t go farm it

 

With a 255 luck char you can farm and 1hit boars for energy bottles, sell the bottles then buy nc if you need it... You'll need decent gear tho, refined at least to C, peirced, and statted if player craft. For both arm/md try to find those with elem bonus and flat +14 int instead of cspd. If on a budget even those +4 int xstals help a lot for pure luck characters. I was farming eb with my level 90 char using my crafted and statted gear it works like a treat!
