lately i m in love with my bow tana
main combo now: 3 time delet and make new char
1.
pluse - smoke save - warcry con - meikyo cons - triple smith - insen swif x 3 time( high agro) some time i put sneak attack to on combo ( sneak cons - warcry cons - meikyo swif)
. to minimize agro if u have tank
smoke sometime i change to arm break save - warcry swif ( to miminimiz bos attack)

2.
moba - arm break save - war cry cons - kaikiri cons - snipe cons - triple cons - miekyo cons - garyou smith - insen ( final movement ) shoot from save place and snipe just use for armor break.
and yes not take sukuci almost not use it cuz bow ( change use triple for movemove to exsecut garyou)
i preferre garyou for bow tana short closejust to execute ( cuz this build not close range. BOW = RANGE !)

and yups bow tana good on hunt mini bos but suck on pt ( wait for fb than boom finale mage) get kick if the leader finale mage ( sometime i can do garyou combo)
just take breaker rank on pt or support, sometime get tank rank cuz agro
snipe combo only on pt ( when i m lazy )
( not take pomel to zenntai skill line save more skill point cuz almost finale mage build have shield to stun and i already have armor break from snipe)
my style on playing hit and run. zenntai and maga useluss cuz not this build style ( stay close on bos maybe you take the worng build this bow tana. bow for range and katana for damage).
( no crt equipment already do good damage almost always crit when garyou x 10 damage cuz armor break ) ( not take cf)
guard skill heavy . guard more important tan eva and high def reduces the damage to( when eva not work bam u die cuz bos crit hit)
armor cheap one from npc ( hp pool heavy build) mozt armor ( roga) for survive
add potum helm ( candela ) cuz need aspd for ampr ( my hp + 1000 shield = save my self)
bow all element drop bow i find
just like assasin move fast. fast combo ( garyou like assasinte skill akatsuki from LH)
1 mp bar for skill that all

cuz i still have lot skill point ( boring stay away from bos yes u can convert it to pure katana and take impact)
just that my build i m broke palyer after all

 

I've noticed that some bow + katana builds have been using zantei to block attacks so that their charges from crossfire don't go away. You could do something like that if you wanted to.

 

try it befor but i m bad using zentai lol
so my build focus on garyou not CF

 

When i toyed with bowtana, i used sneak attack and them solo pulse blade x8-10. Then I did lots of autos to balance back the proration (and recover all mp with decoy) before using snipe-ranshin-triple thrust-garyou combo.
Needs a good tank (merc) to work well though...

 

why do x8-10 pluse blade ?
if u can use combo to fulfill 10 stack garyou?
the combo look similar but little different

what i know war cry not really use just for get agro.( support rank 20 point skill gone cuz this)

 

As a bowtana, you ideally want to stay at range. So to prepare for Garyou, its safest to used sneak attack and then 8-10x pulse blade (i.e. the only ranged katana skill available) to stay safe. Once ready, then you charge in with Triple Thrust/Garyou.

If its MP you are worried about, you should have Decoy Shot up and also Quickcharge available to keep your MP healthy.
