They wouldn't remove it from the creation screen, let me tell you why. Knuckle is the basic weapon for the Martial tree, and Martial Skills are 1 of the 4 main Combat Skill trees. Character creation screen let's you choose one of the 4 basic weapons because you can't start a character without the 1 SP assigned to the 1st skill of the skill tree pertaining to the weapon you choose. If they removed Knuckle from the 4 main weapons then they'd have to remove Martial Skills from the main Combat Skills and make it a sub-combat skill tree as Dual Sword. And that won't happen.

Funny cuz I considered making a brawler with the death colon xtal back when it first came out saying I'd make a Rock Lee and spam the Eighth Gates everywhere XD

No it isn't Main combat brawler has higher rate of inflicting flinch, stun, tumble, lethargy, guard break with martial skill so Brawlers are indeed needed for boss hunt...

 

Yeah thats the issue...brawls dont have that brawler exclusive osmness besides aggravate and stronkchase
Martial tree atm is just a source of choice for sub/hybrid builds

 

If they did that I don't think I'd be using my dw, snipe or any other of my chars that much xD

 

If the way people use skills determined the skill trees, Impact would've been moved to the Shot tree 1 week after the Lv70 update.

My point is, the way people build their characters doesn't dictate if the skills should be main or secondary. The main skill tree is there because it allows a specific weapon to exploit it's skills better than others.

 

But brawler with Martial and dagger skill cause guard break frequently...

 

Not to mention they have a higher chance of being bashed (like bullied by peeps, kick, refuse pt) as well cos nobody loves brawlers...yet

 

Coughs how many ppl use archer skills now purely for quickdraw? Hands up meeeee lol
