Complete Newbs Guide To a Blacksmith

First of all there are 2 types of Blacksmiths, Techsmith & Craftsmith, ill be giving a breif guide on both the types of Blacksmiths

Spoiler: TechSmith Guide

Easiest type of bs there is, pure tech, no need of prof leveling, used for stating equipment and refining
stating equipment:-
teach smiths have an advantage in stating equipment as they get more pot from negetive stats
Armor:- negetive Accuracy stat gives 21 pot(may change after update)
Weapon:- negetive hp/mp regen and dodge stat gives 21 pot(may change after update)

refining:-
ill not go too deep into this topic as this part of the game imo is pretty fcked up and refining is a business, secrets shouldnt get out, but the more tech u have the chance of success increases. and different ores have different levels of risk.

• REFINE EQUIPMENT ( LVL 10 )
• MID CLASS REFINEMENT ( LVL 10)
• CREATE EQUIPMENT (LVL 5)
• UPGRADE EQUIPMENT ( LVL 10 )

Spoiler: Craftsmith Guide

This is a bit hard and time consuming,
so basically u first have to decide what type of craftsmith u want, i prefer pure stats of any craftsmith for max pot, different stats give different pot on different equipment :-

• STR : 2H SWORD (10stat= +1 pot), BOW & 1H SWORD (20stat= +1 pot)

• VIT : ARMOR (10stat= +1 pot)

• AGI : KNUCKLE (10stat= +1 pot) , MAGIC DEVICE (20stat= +1 pot)

• DEX : BOWGUN ( 10stat= +1 pot) , BOW & 1H SWORD (20stat= +1 pot)

• INT : STAFF ( 10stat= +1 pot ) , MAGIC DEVICE (20stat= +1 pot)

Prof leveling :-
personal method(much faster) is after creating the char, cap it and put all the stats as tech, after that farm/buy mats for rapier sword, and keep on making those until you're prof hits a stable level, rapier sword is preffered because its mats are easier to farm for the high amount difficulty it is in comparison, once ur done with prof leveling, use reset book and restat ur blacksmith to the prefered stat.

Dex gear :-
every +6 dex stats from gear gives +1 difficulty level(helps in the success rate)
prefered gear :-

Crafted weapon +8 dex w/dex+2(crysta)
army knife +2 dex
Crafted armor +8 dex w/dex+2(crysta)
Chignon Cap +6 dex w/dex+2(crysta)
Dex Talisman 2 +4 dex w/dex+2(crysta)

all in total it gives 36 + dex = +6 difficulty

Skill tree

• REFINE EQUIPMENT ( LVL 5 )
• CREATE EQUIPMENT ( LVL 10 )
• CAREFULL CREATION ( LVL 10 )
• UPGRADE EQUIPMENT ( LVL 10 ) ( OPTIONAL )
• NOVICE ANVIL ( LVL 10 )
• CRAFTMAN'S ANVIL (LVL 10)

All types of Blacksmiths are prefered to be max capped as for max tech/pot.

Just a small detail not pointed here, people need to add 5 skill points to Create Equipment Skill in order to unlock Upgrade Equipment Skill.

how much potential can be make by level 80 / level 85 ?
i ask for bs VIT.

 

At lvl 85, max stat is 236, so with the math ive stated in the guide(10stat=+1pot) it gives +23 pot to armor on creation, the skill careful creation gives +1 pot , so thats +24 pot in total. For total pot of equipment it also depends on the equipments base stat, i.e for an oracle robe i think is 24
Hence atm, the best pot for an oracle robe can be 24+24= 48 , i maybe wrong but max pot for oracle atm is 48

 

this is a good guide for player to learn blacksmith. good job ^-^

What type of blacksmith do you intend to create? Will it be a crafter BS or just to add stats?

For crafter BS, you will need to focus on the equipment that you would like to craft:

• STR - Two-hand sword/one-hand sword
• AGI - Knucks
• DEX - Bows sub One-hand sword (not sure if 2-hand is included)
• INT - Staff sub MD
• VIT - Armors

For adding stats, you only need TECH.

How can i make bs armor and specialized in mage equipmen ?

 

If what you mean is to have a BS specializing in armor and staffs/m.devices then the answer is "you can't" since with the level cap that we have, we cannot max 2 stats (VIT/INT).

 

So i have to choose 1 of the 2, or have 2 bs on my acount, right ?

 

Yep. 1 VIT BS and 1 INT BS.
