Consistency of finale dmg

    Hi everyone! I have a question about (smited) finale's damage. I've only recently gotten enough sp for my main mage to get the skill and today I tried it on York (Normal) and Super Death Mushroom (the cutest miniboss!!!). When I was trying it on York, I was kinda disappointed because it was only dealing around minimum 200k+ dmg (sorry I don't have screenshots) but I thought I was probably expecting too much because of the hype...or maybe I was doing something wrong xd

    But after that I went to farm sdm and I was really shocked at how high it was dealing on a good hit and a not so good one @-@

    So the damage depends on which boss/mob you're fighting? I'm assuming bosses are more resistant to it...is there a base dmg for finale? I'm a bit bad in math and I only have a few brain cells, so let's say I have 1k matk, how much dmg will a lvl10 finale deal?

    York is one of those super high defense bosses that always take less from everything. Storm on that caps at 10k when other bosses are taking 27 - 29k. It's like Iconos - just less bitchy about stuns.

    EDIT: Also - SDM isnt cute - it's dangerous and scary (high powered AOEs and poison) and farming that MD is a nightmare

    So that's why my storm was always weak @-@ it's like fighting Cerberus before his heads are broken...or Inzanio with his Guard up -_-

    SDM looks really funny when it's running though...those tiny feet always make me laugh xD also, you're right about farming costero. I used books for hours I still didn't get it =_=

    Of course... If all skills did same amount of damage at all bosses no one would ever use any class other than tank and mage.
    Also finale is too good. Its the last skill you should be disappointed with. Ask your fellow physical char users if they can do 500k+ total damage with a single skill cast at 1000atk (Yes thats how much you can do with 1000matk finale)
    York just has low magic proration rate meaning lot of normal/physical attacks are required before you can do high damage. Thats the reason physical performs better at york. It is done so that the game does not become "Finale Online - Departure from toram". Physical users experience the same agony when facing mini boss odelon. There we can barely hit 100k with a skill while finale utterly squashes the tentacle bot by doing the usual 800k total.

    That completely makes sense. Thank you! Honestly I don't know anything about physical classes but for some reason I've always thought their lvl 4 skills are more or less the same as finale. @-@ I guess not...my friend said they will nerf nerf finale xd I sure hope they don't.

    I like finale, it makes everything so much easier but I kinda miss actually fighting the boss. My shield mage used to get up close and punch kick mini/bosses but now I just stay at the side :( I'm considering making a tank just because of this

    IKR - my 2 usable combat characters consist of FINALE vit shield mage (11k hp) and a tank.

    Try soloing bosses with Finale - its a big challenge to do that without getting flinched or dying prematurely

    Finale needs somewhat specific scenarios to be at its most effective. A boss that has aoe interrupts, large area nuke or randomly targeted power attacks (i.e. mozto or gwaimol) will often put finale in its place.
    That being said it's still way overpowered, especially with the addition of maximizer to the tier 4 magic tree. What should be a limiting factor, the high MP cost, is somewhat negated.

    Fear spamming + anti-status (aka war cry) ailment bosses so you lose 8 mp from failing to cast finale and failing to use maximizer. :D

    Yeah fear spamming bosses (die in a fire mozto, mother of all fear spamming) are also the bane of crossfire. I avoid using my crossfire archer against those bosses like the plague.
    I imagine them throwing their phone into the wall.

    Dem my mage is at 2.2k matk and does around that damage man im sad now.
