Contribution points/guild event problem

does anyone know how exactly this works?
ive been holding guild events for contribution points accumulation per player and have noticed that there are flaws with it..
for one, when i have new recruits their guild points seem to follow from a previous guild?
the accurate count i want seems to show only after i convert the points at the end of the week. am i right about this?
and when do these points refresh/reset?

please, to any guild owner who holds this type of event or knows the specifics...

Prolly guild points that was not collected from was carried over to their new one. Points reset/refresh once you gathered them. Very few are doing this kind of event. ^_^

 

hopefully someone can shed some light.. this time around i didnt pay attention
next week i will have to add up the overall points shown-> and subtract the actual collected points just to make sure.
im not sure of the exact duration , but the actual guild points earned by members resonates after converting.
the new members points during this "after conversion" period will reset to zero. i want to make sure that the points they brought with them are not applicable to my event.
why would the points be carried from guild to guild this way? A preview of a players activeness? something to be fixed? ...i just cant believe that the points actually do carry over with the player....

 

What kind of guild event give contribution points?
From what I know, contribution collected by
1. Log in daily, 100pts per day, max 1 times
2. Boss farming with guild mates, 5 pts per boss, max 20 times (100pts per day)
3. Guild chat, 1pts per chat, max 100 times (100pts per day)
4. Play for 1 hour, 100pts per day, max 1 times
5. Killing guild maze mobs, 1 pts per kill, max 100 times (100pts per day)
6. Energy spent for entering guild maze (only party leader get pts), 1 energy = 1 contributions, max 30++ times (not sure about the exact times..., 3000++pts per day...)

Whenever I join a guild I notice that my contribution always reset to 0, so i Guess your case might be a bug

I am a guild master.
the events i have been holding are based from the contribution points collected from players within the guild. so, to observe my problem you will have to be a guild master. Ive been rewarding spina to the guild member who collects the most points by the end of the week. I am not giving contribution points, that would be impossible .-.
the problem is not about how a member can obtain the points, its about the points that follow a member from guild to guild.

So, iv concluded that new members points are excluded from the total and displayed correctly automatically after you convert the points.
if you hold events for contribution points like i have been doing then you should count the points that show right after conversion...
the points that new members carry over from guild to guild do not show up next to their name after conversion..
