Daggerz?

Been scouring the forum pages for dagger build info. It appears there's nothing recent on em, are they that bad? Haha

 

Yes, they are that bad. Some people still use them for utility purposes but they aren't viable for dps...though this might change next lvl cap raise

 

There not Bad......they are just not for dps.....they are good for Melee classes and they dont have builds because its a secondary skill... But if u meant that theres no Builds that uses daggers as secondary weap is because theyre just an option and a strategy......and its just because there are many secondary skill weaps that are easy to u for a strategy......but i use dagger as my seconday build and its help ful because im a melee type....but wht i like is the additional buffs they give......and Theres a skill that implements "slow" debuff which is very useful and the Gattling knife is cool if its lvl 10 cuz it hits 500 per hit but its not much good if its low level..... And there are many selections of dagger that has different builds and suitable for all skills.....

 

dagger skills don't do much damage, but most of them ignore defense.
my mage uses daggers for evasion, slow and the 0 mp skill

 

Dagger passive improved my already gatling fast auto atks. They're not the best dps, but are not bad buff skills. Dig deeper. ^_^

 

Dagger skills best for accumulating physical atk proration as it got fast skill animation (except for Gatling)

Sad that people actually believe in what I've proven false... All my time here feels like useless when I read misinformation.

Skills with multiple hits DO NOT count as separate hits to proration nor to breaker rank %. They count as 1 hit. And the damage dealt by passive skills doesn't even count as a hit, so don't expect Hidden Arm nor Aggravate to do anything to proration or breaker % at all.

 

Perhaps not all of them have read all the facts that you've laid for them. ^_^

 

This I know, I think I stumbled onto a post you made about daggers the other day. But dagger skills are still good for 1h proration right, or is the sword skill tree enough?

 

Actually what I mean is not the multiple hit but the dagger skills itself. Dagger skills have 3 active skills with fast animation that you can put in combo for mage. I use this combo for my mage and it deal very high DPS.

Spike > Poison dagger(save) > throwing dagger (cons or none if lvl10) > impact (cons) > storm (smite) > sonic wave/bless (cons)

The advantage of this combo is its long range attack and also hard to get aggro and it is 1mp combo.

Ah didn't know you meant a mage self proration. That's extremely good.

 

Impact rarely hit the boss bcoz you use combo at long range so it value is 0. If sonic wave do the tumble then after a while the aggro already been taken by the others.

 

I think I'm more confused, can I get an explenation for dummies? Haha

 

Hmm... Probably I'm always on spam-a-lot party so that's why I got less aggro. I usually got aggro sometimes when the impact also hit.

 

Daggers skill have a long range atk as it's benefits, I use it too for my Brawler Maid char, and i like it when throwing knife while the boss is walking slowly to reach/chase me

Play safe by atking from long range n when the boss hp is near death, n getting close to me i just one punch him nyahaha

For combo i use this:
Sonic Wave - poison knife(save) -spike dart(con) - gatling gun(con) :3

 

There was a time when gatling knifers were in. That's cuz gatling knife skill damage is similar to spiral air which wasn't bad before the release of 3rd tier skills. U'll hear tales of pure strength staff firing daggers at bosses, or 1h and bowgun variants doing that.

Times have changed, people do Tkicks, snipes, sword tempests, storms and phantom slash as main dps skills now.

Now I rely on daggers mainly for stat boost, or utility. Like spike dagger as an alternative to 1 mp combo starter, or some other combo filler.

 

I use em for my brawl/dagger/healer/luk char. XD
