It's been months on Toram Online. After months of playing Mage, I want to try another class, and it's DW.

I planned this kind of build:

    Agi : Dex = 1:1
    with:
    1 Dex = +2 Atk, +1 Acc
1 Agi = +1 Atk, Flee, aspd, and increased off-hand damage

Many suggested str, but after knowing it's only increase the CDmg and didn't really provides me with secondary defense stats. (like def or flee-rate). I ditched it.

    About Skills:
    DW Tree
    -10 Dual Sword Mastery <+Crit%, +Off-hand damage>
    -10 Dual Sword Control <+ASPD>
    -10 God's Speed <Agi+>
    -10 Dual Slash <Good damage dealer skill>

    Sword Tree
    -10 Sword Mastery <+Overall Damage>
-5 Sword Speed <+aspd, only for Sword Tech Requirement>
-10 Sword Technique <+10% sword skill, I suppose this will increase the damage of Dual Slash skill damage too>
-5 to 10 Hard Hit <Opener, and flincher. Useful to halt boss' red zone if you are in tight situation to avoid it>
-10 Astute<Alt. Opener and Good damage. Good opener since it's gives CritRate+ buffs>
-10 Trig. Slash<Finisher. Good damage, the buffs of 2x AMPR until next skill activated is good>

    Battle Skill Tree
    - 5~10 Atk Up <+Overall damage>
    - 5 Smite<requirement>
    - 10 Crit Up <+Crit Rate/Damage not sure>
    - 5 Defense Up <requirement, but those 5% DEF bonus is nice tho>
    - 10 Evasion Up<Flee-rate increase. Estimated around 10% on lvl10. with build agi:dex - 1:1 You will had numerous flee and increased by 10% wouldn't be bad.

    Knight Skill Tree
    - 10 Light Armor Mastery (I'm not sure which is true, but I heard it's raises Evasion and Flee-rate you gain from light armor. The increasement is unknown. Probably 1%/lvl)

    Survival Skill Tree
    - 5 Inc Hp Recovery
    - 5~10 Max HP <+500 HP is already good. Get a knight helmet if you need more HP increase or ganglef>

    Armory:
    - I don't have luxury xtal or BS great crafts. I'm poor after all.
    - I suppose anything gives dex (and/or) agi

    Combo:
-Hard Hit - Astute - Dual Slash - Trigger (consec all)

    What are you guys think?

I would add about 40-50 points in agi then go to all dex. Or atleast get more than 1k ASPD. I never used a air slash or tempest skill for dw so I'm unclear about that. You pretty much have the skills you need. As for sub hand go for a powerful sword like tomahawk. All I got for you since I gave up on dw a long time ago because I needed space.

Most players that go for 1:1 Dex Agi immediately, are often disappointed because of the low damage output they do with skills, but auto attacks are balanced.
Str is good as a third stat, after maxing out dex and agi to a certain point. Str increases your atk by +1 and your CDMG, by 1 point for every 1 str.
but Str also increases both main hand damage and sub hand damage by half of what you would put in dex and Agi. str is often over looked, but it is a good stat on DW.
Yes you cannot feel the increase in damage by putting str, but by raising your dex and agi to a certain point. and then adding a lot of str. you can see the difference.
If you want to opt to build damage in early to mid game(current game status) max dex first to a certain point, somewhere like 120-150.
then go max Agi to increase survivability by increasing dodge and flee and aspd, balancing out with the amount of Dex you have.
Then lastly, personally I would opt to put STR, some would opt for Crit, or Vit, but it's you choice if you would go full 1:1 Dex Agi until end game, or utilize a third stat.

Only suggestion is, don't prioritize balancing out dex and agi first because you might get disappointed by your damage output.

Skill is standardly Built, we use the same standard 1mp combo.
but i mostly utilize Spin Slash. which will also depend on your preference.

i would say, to consider not getting spiral air and tempest right now.
but it depends on your build if you would build ampr, or mp. since those skills eat up a lot of mp, and you would rely mostly on long combos to mitigate the mp consumption.

It's still on considerate area. I wouldn't go far to tested them.. I haven't prepared my credit card to pay resets... XD
Maybe once I clear my bill, I'll test this things.. XD
Thanks for the inputs. It gives good insight.. :D

You can always just do a character reset.

Good idea. I dunno, I prefer high-flee rate and high-accuracy rate. Building 3rd stats sounds unfocused. But that's maybe my ego. Your input however is good tho.. XD
I would try to build the str as 3rd stats on other DW.. :D

Spin Slash cause knockback and blind if I'm not mistaken..
Maybe, instead of considering of Tempest, this maybe even better. Because DW had a natural high flee-rate and with blinding the foes, that could be meant I could evaded enemy attacks.. XD
    Thanks for the input~

You can have high flee and dodge stat with 150 agi. and as the game progresses there would be better xtals/ equips that would suit the DW.

I would really opt for STR rather than Crit tho.
in my honest opinion, i would go for a stat that would increase a lot of stats like atk, aspd, damage output from both hands, and crit damage, rather than a stat that only increases your crit and crit damage. you can always build crit from equips. and the increase in crit and crit damage from crit stat isn't that high. you would only feel the difference if you got it like to a 100+ but would you really invest that much stat points when you can get the same increase from items, xtals and skills.

In case you need some defensive skills...
    1) Battle Skills - Dodge up (this skills increase dodge rate and evasion rate, need extra 5sp for prerequisite tho)
    2) Survival Skills - Fighter High (Works better for higher Max Hp/Hp Regen)
    3) Dual Swords - Cross Parry (this skill is fun because you need to timed it when taking hits, it block one hit, chances to tumble and reduce damage of next hit)
    4) Dual Swords - Spinning Slash (It blinds enemies, works better if you have high flee)
    5) Dual Swords - Reflex (this buff evasion rate, but decrease a lot def and Mdef, As this skills buff your current evasion rate, it is better to have Dodge up, Light armor Mastery, Equipment with evasion rate etc to go along with it)

Based on this, I might taking the evasion route. Since DW are designed to had lots of evasion..

    Thanks for your suggestion... :D

IF the str raises the overall damage, what's so different than dex? Dex, so long I remember are giving overall damage in more return points compared to str.
1 dex = 2 ATK, while 1str = 1 ATK (Unless 1-hand only). Unless both gives an equal (1 -> 2ATK) then str is actually more benefited. Because the CRTDMG is more useful than Accuracy, since Critical Negate the evasion. XD

    Suggestion.... Full dex
Only 5 Sword Mastery (your stability decrease 1 pont per mastery)
And put some Sober Analysis for AMPR :)

1 Dex = 2atk, increases only main hand damage.
1 agi = 1 atk, increase only sub hand damage
1str = 1 atk, increases both main and sub hand damage by half of what you would gain if you put either dex or agi.

so if you try pure str dw. you would see your damage would be balanced. just like what you would get by doing 1:1 dex agi, although your atk stat will be lower.

IF my hunch is right, then STR build would had MORE power compared to agi:dex and slightly lower than Full Dex. But then again, I'm a fan of evasion and flee, so..

    Gonna look 'em up

    well just a simple question..
dex increase base attack by 2 its given. and also if you notice if you add 4 dex its gives 9 attacks(so if you reach a certain cap for dex it gives bonus attack. not sure if its really 4 dex never try it again. i just happen to notice it)(and im not sure if its on my DW or mage i forgot. dex for DW or int for mage. but one thing im sure didnt experience it with str for DW)
and most of DW i asked says that its good to invest to agi .. it gives 2 attacks and dodge as well. fpr attack does it shows in status? i cant look at it at the moment coz i dont have my phone here.. so lets say it doesnt add base attack .. just increase auto attack of left hand..
str gives 1 base attack .. but i read some guides that it gives 1 attack to both.. so total of 2 attacks
    so
    dex = 2 attack(base attack) (+bonus when you reach a certain cap)
agi = 2 attack(off hand dont know if its counted as base attack as well)
str = 2 attack (1 base attack and the other one is off hand and crit damage)
skill dmage calculation ( only apply for base attack? do agi increase skill damage? )
so if you want higher skill damage it is good to spend all dex?
and for increase crit damage then add str.
then for agi .. flee, dodge speed and lot more i do not know .. well i only ask damage not survival or anything.

im still learning dont know much about the game .. been playing for 2weeks or more i think .
so if you want more damage. which of the 3 maximize it?
so i just want more ideas..
