Why i can't equip a halbert and shield in the same time while i can equipe a halbert and a dagge in the same time?

 

Halberds can only equip arrow and dagger for sub weapons. daggers and arrows are small, light, and can be held easily. Halberd itself requires 2 hands to wield (at least in Toram), so equipping halberd and shield at the same time would be impossible.

 

I don't think you can wield a halberd single handedly in real life.


A shame really, they should've just named this spear as majority of halberds look like spears anyway. I want my spear + shield combo .

 

Maybe someday they could make it so that halberds can equip shields as sub for more survivability, but at the cost of decreasing ATK and/or ASPD (though currently ASPD of halberds are terrible enough).

Also I didn't knew halberds and spears are quite different until you mentioned it xD

 

Halberd is combination of spear and battle-ax so yeah need two hands to wield it.

 

But.. realistically you can put the shield on your forearm and still hold the halberd with 2 hands...

 

It might be possible, but it's not really worth it. The halberd is meant for being used two handed, and they are usually heavier towards the top, which would make it difficult to balance. Plus, the axe part of the halberd would become pretty much useless, as it would be near impossible to generate enough force for it to be effective.
