Favourite anime(s)

Hey there, would be interested what your favourite and anime series is or are

For me, it's NGE, Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, HxH 2011, FMAB, Fate:Zero and Fate S/N UBW (Cú Chulainn beging badass mainly) and Shinsekai Yori - Edit: I totally forgot Parasyte.

Btw, my first anime series was Naruto. Amazing how a show starting off so good can turn to shit so bad...

My favorite series are HxH, Fate Zero, Shinsekai Yori too! As well as Parasyte.

 

Hentai <~real comedy anime, BBlac Clover, Log Horizon, Is It wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon, the devil is a part timer, am i a Zombie, Highschool of the dead. And few others

 

For me, my favorite anime is "Nanatsu no Taizai".

I haven't watched any of these, I have to say.. Gotta catch up with some animes

Also, I watched Nanatsu no Taizai and really liked it, however it's not amongst my favourites as for me it lacked philosophical or psychological background in order to qualify for a favourite.

Ahahah just one of my favorite pokemon to use back in generation 6 competitive battles XD (definitely not a fan of the anime lol but its a good childhood anime)

 

Haha okay nice I actually stopped after Gen IV, but started playing competitive on smogon for a while before I started my gap year... Always used a Weavile, I guess

 

Ohh a weavile lover XD i love seeing varieties and non-OU tier pokemon in battles :3 but.. i also stopped competitive battles now cos too many abilities/pokemon/skills to remember @.@

 

But Cú Chulainn was so nerfed in UBW though, Kirei ordered him through Command Seal to basically never fight at his true power and reduces him to a scout.
For reference, he was able to stave off Gilgamesh for 12 hours straight in the Fate route without this handicap.

 

I know, right? Sadly it's almost always the same with long running franchises. Pokémon got worse; Platinum was so philosophical and sinister, after that I got worse, both regarding the majority of designs and the story themes.

Also, Naruto.. whereas there are also other examples - I mean look at HxH 2011, 149 episodes, beautiful artwork and soundtrack and to top it off a masterfully compositioned story with a unique power system and well-developed characters. ( *-*)

 

Yeah, I don't know much about the Nasuverse besides the series mentioned. Still, very interesting to read

 

I will have to defend pokemon i agree recent stories are very childish but generation V was great actually. Especially, BW2, its an excellent continuation of the story where BW left behind. Also BW had the best `Victory road’ design out of all pokemon games up to that time xP

I do agree that generation V probably had the worst pokemom design and disappointing starters (stat-wise) but then generation VI gave us hope back XD and omg *_* karlos region is beautiful <3

Hxh is always a masterpiece for me. Thats mainly attributed to the genius but worst author ever (like hiatus for 2 years and now updating 10 chapters annually .. seriously ???). I mean, in a commerical point on view, hxh is published on JUMP (one of the top three manga publisher company in japan). Normally, a sick leave (stopping for one week) would have severely affected the polls already and when the story falls in the last three rank (not sure the exact policy but u know what i mean) in the poll, authors are forced to end the story within certain time hence so many `rush’ stories. Yet this hxh only update like 10 weeks per year and he is still able to publish it on JUMP....

Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood and Code Geass are my top favorites. Others are Assassinations classroom, Fate zero and Honey and Clover.
