No shields. Only daggers and arrows as sub.

 

If you want to use shields. you can do 1H/Shield. Some Halberd skills work with 1H too.

isnt there a skill in halberd that now recovers mp? how much mp does it recovers and can it be used by other classes?

 

you can

 

build analysis:

since magic is divided on INT, DEX and AGI, magic is not suited for halberds.
STR and AGI raise attack and speed. halberds are the slowest of all weapons, but they get good speed support.
they lack accuracy and DEX does as good as nothing here, but it's not needed anyway since the skills enhance critical rate.
only daggers and arrows are available as sub-weapons.


STR-AGI-VIT
high HP helps since it's a close combat class. having both, AGI and VIT, allows to choose between light or heavy armor.
even without shields, the heavy variant can guard good with the parrying dagger and the rare halberds with guard stats.
the light variant can just boost evasion further and use VIT only for HP.

STR-AGI-DEX
DEX is the main damage factor for Poison Knive and the accuracy makes you less dependant on CRT.
if you forfeit the personal stat and use DEX instead of CRT, you could spent the CRT points on VIT to get some more HP.
whether DEX raises stability or not is still unknown...

 

Tested punish ray crt buff wont work on 1h as main.

 

Agi doesnt add evasion it only adds dodge rate asobimo got the habit of misplacing both of them

 

it's a "no limit" skill but it's on the Halberd tree.
obviously Halberds will get a bonus effect, so the increased critical rate will be lower when not using Halberd

 

Nah i can never crt strike stab at all if i use on 1h
When it was leaked it said next skill is 100% crt i tested with 47crt rate still all i see is white dmg.

 

maybe the description is messed up...
it's the same with Quick Aura: it says "you can activate skills with HP instead of MP" but the actual effect is that Quick Aura consumes HP instead of MP. other skills still need MP to activate.
