Welcome to toram and the forum, reading the class section is a smart idea, learning a bit about types of builds so you can get an idea what type of character you want to build and how to properly distribute stats and skills can save you a great deal of confusion down the road. Main quest is a good way to earn experience but the current bonus experience on monsters +4/-4 levels from your character you can level just as fast from farming monsters within that range, there is a guide that gives a basic list of monster levels and areas (mob leveling guide). The pets skills Tree is also worth looking into as many people claim it's helpful in leveling characters, also as a new player try to find and befriend someone in game with a well built character you can have there mercenary accompany you when you don't want/can't find a party. Mercenaries are also helpful in main quest as they can assist in some quests an actual party can't.

 

This introduction was done 4months ago. She's already badass high level. Necro poster just brought it up. ^_^
