Help, equipment

I just begun playing the game yesterday.
And now that im level 30 mage im still using the default equipment, Is there a guide on how to buy or craft beginner equips?

enemies are starting to 3 hits me xD

 

If you only have one char try to get a friend merc, or a pet in the same party.
You can get to level seventy in a day if you farm with a merc while using the boss leveling or mob leveling list.
You can also try coryn club with their new xp by level boss mob finder.
As for the gear it highly depends on the build, what kind of mage is it?
Staff arrow, staff dagger, staff fu, pure staff, md?
I suggest buy philosophers ring it can go as low as 5k at times.
I still use mine at 150. Nightcap is a good hat for mages too,about 40k unslotted.
For the weapons just check with the npc for mats and stats. Or check coryn club if they could be drops.
