How about a new Skill ?

Hello guys this is my first time posting something here so I hope you enjoy the idea.
So I've been playing Toram Online for about a month now (I'm so happy that I found/installed it) and I've noticed that there are many drops in the form of INGREDIENTS (such as Egg/Onigiri/tough meet...etc) so I thought :
Shouldn't there be a chef to cook these ?

A cooking skill like a synthesist skill or a blacksmith skill (but not as useful maybe ) to make it easier to get food instead of doing the sub-quests to get it, it would be a lot easier also.

Crafting food from the ingredients we find is a great idea (to me at least) cuz I mean its FOOD.

And maybe to customize our own recipes to make new and exotic looks and flavours.

Its just a bit crazy idea that I got and decided to share it with to hear your opinions too

You can share your ideas of recipes and ingredients if you want. ( I'll try making them in real life XD)

 

i agree with u and it would make the game alot more fun :3

 

It would be interesting but it depends on what each recipe did for if it would be useful or not ^.^

 

well u do have a point there it would take quite some time for them to develop it if they planed to make it useful

 

I guess, the synthesis could have a cooking branch. And when they release the pets update...instead of releasing them...you can COOK THEM!

well, all those indrigents can also be eaten as they are. they are a cheap alternative to potions and some of them produce unique effects =(^.^)=

limes, eggs and chicken tender all recover mp, which is exclusive to event potions so far.
white gelantin increases motion speed.
dried walnut gives 1% matk.
red gelatin increases aspd by 30%.
of course they are inferior to real potions since they are either weak or last only a short time, but if you don't have the money to buy potions, it's a cheap alternative.

personally, i don't think cooking will be added since it is already implemented in form of quests.
Frente has cooking quests that require indrigents and reward you with food items which are stronger than the potions available at that level.
there will be more like this and El Scaro also has at least one NPC that likes cooking

also, even if they do add cooking recipes for players, i doubt that we can cook what we want. and i definitely don't want to prepare food like that stuff that Pelulu cooked in the desert...

 

So for the Pelulu part you mean you don't want to potentially poison yourself or other players right?

true since according to Balft and Triel it apparently tasted really good but after seeing the ingredients yea you wouldn't want to eat it

Lol when I first noticed the food I was running all over trying to find a place to cook it.
