How can newcomer like me leveling, if everyone looking for finale user?

I have hoarded a few genius+justice, genius+intelligent 2h ganglefs for future fodder.. I wonder what kind of power fusing capped ganglef's would give me. ^_^

 

As we all know pet power is capped by the current level. Apparently we got free play on stats and more level just means more stats for growth. Level capping them takes a lot of elbow grease. The fact that 3 pet skills can be nailed down is a key factor of a pet pedigree. Having the main(mother) skill as a constant, the fodder(father) pet have to be really planned and filtered(becoz you gonna end up with a messed up kid), and the first pet skill that will roll your dice with.
For me i build my pet as follow:
Mother:Main DPS skill mostly ether magic lance (magic pet) or rage blow (for phy pet)better get this at level 10 since this will be the legacy skill to be passed every fusion generation.
Father:HP absorb skill. What it hits, it eats! It be a free 5 skill points since pet heal wont be really needed(i do have a lvl10 stargem tho just for emergency) better have this as high as possible in every fusion or at least level 5 and above is good enuf.
Baby: rage attack for aggro generation but what i am really after is ether cover(to save my butt) or mana boost(more lance baby!) Sadly the last critical skill have to rely on pure luck the very least it may get 1st aid or any skill in the lower box.
Since i chosen magic base for a pet, my summoner is a bowman. Because proration is another boost for damage and another key role of being a summoner. I aim for max int first(more damage, more hp to absorb), second is vit for more pet hp.(1 lance hit would always fill it up for me). One key feature is if you can have good aggro management, the more you spam skills the more your pet can deal damage(as proration mechanics goes). More damage it does, the more it heals itself, so you can just focus on spamming cf and snipes all day.

How did you made ur mercs revive to lvl 10? Is it the skill in survivak skill tree?

 

Play dead from survival tree, first aid from support tree
