how to do +S refine?..........

Using hematite and "victim" equip from A to S, or using ref ticket if u r feeling rich.
And no, Im not joking about the hematite.

 

when yu gamble your A+ weapon and yu end up at 9+

 

Iirc in a vid i watched.. uhh you use a spare equip and constantly degrade it , then after multiple consecutive degrades you try to refine your main equip.

 

truthfully, there's pretty much no way with the current tech cap. you calculate the success rate, you get it as -57% or something. however if we get another bar, which really we need, tech cap becomes 510 and the success rate becomes like 38% with HP ori. it's similar to doing +E with mith ore.
but right now, the game needs any negative value as 1% success rate, so to get a +S you refine, refine and refine again... until you get that 0.01% luck.

The video in question only showed it done once not multiple times to prove the claim so the player who made that video may have just gotten lucky with RNG instead of it being an actual valid method Egg

 

Well technically the method isn't entirely wrong , you are manipulating the rng to be in your favour, and as far as i know it is better as compare to spamming without breaks in between. These had been a method used on alot of rng related game.

I had asked a few players before on what they are using when they are trying to +s and alot of them said that they werent spamming hyper antis, There's an out of the box method out there.

 

Still the manipulating 2nd item by failing on it only works if both the equips got same success rate (i.e. Same refine). If you are failing on a +E 2nd gear which has like ~50% failing rate theres no way it will help you refine a +B ori+hmh which is still 91% chance to fail.
Simple reasoning:-
Rng generates a number from 1 to 100 at random.
Suppose it generates 10,20,30 (three tries) on a 2nd gear that will fail +E refine but on the 4th try it generates 70 mind the fact that 70 is actually a success for +E but its still fail for +B.
For two gears having same success rate for refine can be used because having same success rate they also have the same numbers for which they will fail making it easier to land the success numbers.
Even after my vague explanation its still completely based on your LUCK in the end. Like irl luck.

 

As far as I know its pointless to use HP ori at S. Whatever u are using its 1% if u are only using anti and not the ref ticket.
If the chance is 1%
CMIIW
Anti × 100 = 800k
Hyper Anti 100k x 100 = 10m
HP Ori 200k x 100 = 20m

And this calc apply ONLY IF ur weapon never degrade back to B or even C.
How ref BS ever gain profit with this?
Especially selling S ref at 15m
Hematite if without ref ticket
