I have no idea what I'm doing . . .

I just started playing Toram a few weeks ago, and I'm aiming for a str>vit 2hs character, but other than that I have absolutely no idea what kind of build I want. Any sort of help with understanding the skills, combos, equips, and playstyle would be greatly appreciated ^w^

 

Do you have lvl 4 skill alrd (Lvl 150)? Its actually easier to start from there to seriously build your 2hs.
2hs is usually playing around Meteor Breaker or Enchant Sword (I don't recommend this one, coz the animation is sux now lol), with Rampage, Decoy, or Trigger slash as MP recovery skill, and Berserker to give you extra critical and aspd. For the stat, its usually STR>DEX doesn't mean you have to follow it, but STR>DEX is more to all-out atk. As for combos, gonna be easier if you understand how all the combo tags work before you start to make ur own combo, or you can try to copypasta someone's combo and improve it as you fit. Playstyle is more to your feelings on playing tbh, like maybe you like playing with high APM and spamming, or maybe you like it as a nuker that does dmg with a lot of preparation. You gonna feel your playstyle as time goes.
Actually having more references about other 2hs builds will help you alot, like from youtube, but its best if you don't copypasta the whole build. A visual explanation will work best imo.

So I am guessing that you’re aiming for a semi tank 2h build. With that said you can use equips that buff crt, cdmg and att, since hp gives you all the def you need, skill wise you can also use Knight skills since ipu can tank in case the tank in pt fails ( which happens often) or you can tank if no tank is available. Most ppl do str>dex for power and accuracy, it for a new player semi tank will be much easier for you until u can grasp how this game works , I did that with my mage vit>int and it worked well for me . The most desired stat in this game is crt so aiming for 100 crt is vital.

 

Get Astute to Lv10, Trigger Slash Lv10
For other skills; MP Boost Lv10 and HP Boost Lv10(Survival Skill).

For gear, aim for Crit, Crit Damage and Attack

 

You can buy a shaved ice hat additional in the consignment board for very cheap to get more critical rate. Other than that choose whatever armor, special, or 2h you can afford according to your budget. If you're a new player without much spina better to just use npc equips and finish main quest first, using your friend's mercs for help in beating the boss
