Is DPS Everything in Toram?

True. But the RNG gods hate me. I usually get attacker rank but never get good items when I do. Give me another rank and i somehow get rare xtals/equips.

 

You wanna talk about RNG gods hating on people? I think they despise my existence (not just in Toram, but irl as well). I try to be technical, believing that the probability of events are just numbers and that if something happens, it happens. But, I can't help be a bit superstitions when the odds are usually not in my favor...

As i said i was stating to star that atckers dont get all the goodies xD wasnt stating tanks get the best either i meerly said if star believes this how would that explain my luck xD trust me precaria were vets enough to know how drops work now.
many have beliefs in the luck stat(good for normall mats imo) but torally useless in boss battles.plus luck only benifits the individuels luck not the partys.
tbh ill say it once more ill never party with luck builds theyre a total waiste of party efficiency- sorry.

tanks rule xD jk all classes stand a solid chance for obtaining rares with time+effort put in.

 

Yeah over 1 year now since beta went to live. On average a solid income builder for me just on eeries.

Just solo it no breaks if u have time to pile in 2-3 hours a day or more solid i normmaly achieve 2-6 eeries a week thats fact not bragging btw.
My theory and is standing well atm is:
Breaks= higher focus on gear
no breaks= increases crystal drops due to rarety increasing since you wont get as many crappy non wanted drops the game compensates in the form of crystals.

 

OH MY. I wasn't referring to the Luck personal stat! xD I was referring to RNG luck. I agree that LUK is useless for xtals, its only good for farming mats due to how the stat works with the rarity percentages. Xtal drop luck is all about efficient party/soloing, tons of persistence and yes, RNG.

 

well i got ataker, tank and breaker achievement 1000 never counted all the xtals...but from all these ranks i can tell u attaker drops more

I don't care about all the DPS and attacker rank shiz, because for me it's all about getting the drops I want (esp armors, I love collecting them all ^^). They can hog attacker rank all they want, but it's not guaranteed to get rare drops like crystal bwahaha. I actually noticed those who get breaker rank often get crystal the most (in my personal experience at least) while support & tank ranks (as in my case) for armors ^^ I don't mean to aim for those ranks to get those drops, but IMO, it's all about real life luck and RNG. Mugami's thread about breaking and drop rates helps a lot too

 

bro i know what game needs dps need good tank and tank needs good dps but trust me ataker drops more after u get ataker a few times consecutive ull get from 3 to 5 drops every round,problem is in good pt is hard to get atakker every round

Yea but without a DPS in the pt, no one is going to get those drops. Longer runs = less runs (thus less chances to drop a rare). So its good that at least someone focuses on the attacker, otherwise the party will suck. xD

 

Yup that too, but I'm assuming most players are doing their part to contribute in DPS somehow (instead of like purely doing support and possibly leechingXD). What ruins the game (for me at least personally) when someone in party complains when you out- rank them in Attacker, as if it's the only rank that matters D:

Let them be. Players should be able to chose their own style without being criticized by other players.@.@

Toram has the most open class system of all asobimo games...and probably most other mobile mmos.

Just play whatever you want and don't listen to the idiot going "Boo! Don't play this style! Play that style instead, you idiot!"

Are we talking about high dps or low dps? And let me think attacker 1 has the best drops,they obviously don't know how to farm xtals
