Is it a good idea to reset my lvl107 main to a bs char?

I'm really debating whether i should reset my 2h main to be a bs. I'm flat out broke so I thought i got to step up my spina game, and apparently the best choice is to be a blacksmith. I started a new char to be an Armor BS but I can already see how hard it will be for me to lvl this guy without using NCs. If any that I would reset my main to be a bs;
1. Is it a good idea? xD
2. Should I cap my main before resetting?
3. What kind of BS should I make?

 

It costs a lot of spina/farming to level a blacksmith's proficiency. I wouldnt if I were you, but if you really want, make a vit tank bs.

If you dont have a luck mage then nope, if you have why not. And there are too many Armor bs rn its hard to sell unless its 2 slotted, imo dex is better

 

If u reset ur main to bs, how u gonna get the mats? Buying?
That will only leads to worse situation.

Its better to switch to blacksmithing if u have a proper foundation. At least thats my opinion.

Sidenote: I have 2 blacksmith chars

 

if you reset it. your next problem is proficiency.

A luk mage is your best bet. Farm and sell those mats on the board. Get some light element eq set and fire element eq set and you're good for nc/mats farming. Peligro, Sykea and Empress will be your new residence area.
