    I heard that the forums loves kritio so I decided to attempt my hand on a theory craft of sorts.

    State point allocation
    Pure dex.

    Skill point allocation

    Lvl 2 blade skills - 30 points
    10 - hard hit
    10 - astute
    10 - trigger slashed

    dual wield lvl2 - 40 points
    10 - Dual Sword Mastery
    10 - Twin Slash
    10 - Dual Sword Control
    10 - God speed
    Edit: cross parry removed

    Magic lvl 3 - 23 skill points
    5 - magic arrows
    5- javlin
    5- lance
    8- impact

    Edit:shot tree removed

    Survival tree - 15 points
    5 - safe Rest
    10 - HP boost.

    skill points 108/120
    Potential rotations
    astute->save(impact)->smite(twin swords) = pure dmg spam
    hardhit->save(impact)->smite Trigger-slash = cost 1 mana to generate mana. @Starlord advice

    how combo works:
    1) astute gives crit buff
    2) save impact -> floats 2 mana, aliment tumble
    3) smite twin swords->
    2 mana is doubled to 4 mana because of smite
    4 mana is cut in half to 2 mana because of impact buff
    2 mana is removed because of save
    this rotation is short which is suitable for dw and it only costs 1 mp
    solves @BlahBlahBlackSheep and @firefox1981 issue of the rotation being to long
    solves @BlahBlahBlackSheep issue of flinching the boss early in combo which could reset attack patterns
    breaker rotation
    astute->save(impact)->smite(twin swords)->cons(hard hit) @firefox1981 the suggestion for impact and this rotation

    Potential weaknesses
    Not a sniper
    Not a mage
    Dealing with community hate of kiritards XD.
    Old build.
    total skill points 110/120 put the 10 points into utility or battle skills your choice.
    Potential combo
    hard hit-> Sneak Attack (SAVE)-> cross parry (swift)->astute(swift)->smite(Twin Slash)->trigger slash(consecutive)
    Astute > Sneak > Cross Parry > Hard Hit > Twin Slash > Trigger - sheeps.

    As mentioned before you can trade cross parry for another skill of your choice. This rotation should be 100mp in cost.
    An in dept explanation
    1) Sneak Attack (SAVE) -> float 400 mp
    2) cross parry -> float 300 mana
    3) astute -> float 200 mana
    4) twin slash -> float 0 mana
    5) trigger slash reduce by >400 mana making it free.
    6) since dw have to attack 4 times any way might as well get mana from it.

    Potential Weakness:
    Combo is stupid long for a DW, I am hoping praying that Sneak Attack will save me for a bit.
    and my own incompetence.
    @BlahBlahBlackSheep pointed out a potential issue of having hard hit as an opener an suggested a better rotation, see the spoiler for reference. Sheep also suggested that the combo may not finish in time to protect trigger from getting canceled.

    @chalkie-kun suggested,in the spoiler below, that having sneak attack may break the combo if the dw does not have aggro, I will attempt to test this using a jank character. But, in the mean time may need to allocate skill points differently.
    possible fixes
    -go down the shots tree to obtain smoke shot 500mp, if I go down the shots tree I will need another 2 mp skill to balance save.
    -go down the knuckle tree to obtain shell break 400mp, more cc I guess!

    we do need to consider the speed of each of the skills to keep sheep's issue of not being able to finish the combo, to protect trigger slash.
    [/spoiler/
    @WindSlash was able to prove the sneak attack still procs even with out aggro.
    You all are free to call this baby ugly.

    Hello Eri~

    Another potential problem I can think of is for the combo opener, Hard hit at lvl10 will most likely flinch the boss, this 'resets' it's attack and might instead cause it to use a area skill next (with you standing inside while carrying out your next skill in the combo), instead maybe you could change hard hit for Astute. So that way when you start the combo (when it's safe) you won't reset it's attacks and you get the +25% crit from Astute too for your subsequent attacks. d( ̄▽ ̄〜) Not sure how long cross-parry attacks for though (didn't get it on mine), but with hard-hit at the start, it's almost like banking on that the monster will tumble if it does skill after being flinched. Maybe you can try the below and see if it's better?

    Astute > Sneak > Cross Parry > Hard Hit > Twin Slash > Trigger.

    By the time your combo reaches cross parry, the boss might start to use a skill, and even if cross parry doesn't tumble, hard hit will flinch it, making it 'safe'. But I'm not sure if it's safe long enough for you to finish Trigger :x

    Is astute a timed buff or a buff that is consumed by a skill?
    If so, your combo is just better.
    if not I may need to find another opener and play I hope this works.

    From what I know it's a timed duration boost (for astute). :) Good luck eri~~~

    When I made a theory thread about Mage+Shot combo, there were comments about Sneak not activating if you're not the current aggro holder.

    Astute > Sneak attack (Save) > Spiral Air (Consec) > Impact (Consec) > Rampage (Swift) > Cross parry (Consec) or Spinning slash

    Hopefully the skills around the Rampage will keep you safe.

    The thing is, it works even without having aggro. I do remember someone making that claim so I also thought of seeing it for myself.

    Astute>Sneak(save)>SwordTempest(Smite)>Spiral Air(consecutive)
    Tested this combo on Forest Wolf and Boss Goblin with my Lv42 magicswordsman. I brought along a tank to spam provoke to ensure that aggro was never on my magicswordsman on both bosses.
