Main quest tips and tricks

Introduction: I was browsing and noticed how empty this and the side quest forums are. So I felt the need to make a list of the main questions,tips for the bosses and some mobs and all other useful tidbits!

Tutorial- Its a tutorial....just...do it..
Colon boss- This is your fist boss and will be a fairly easy fight for you. At this time you'll be at about lvl7-10

• Element: Wood(Earth) - Weak against Fire
• Gear Drops: Colon met(+200 hp -20%(?) HP regen
• Item Drops: Colon Leaf, Boss colon skin, *Sofya city(port)

Xtal: HP+70, MP+30
Notes: He is a major pushover if your having trouble go commit genocide of the colons and other mobs around him. For Archer your best skill here is Moeba shot. Mages use arrows,Warriors Astute him.(After you hard hit to break him! I'll be checking later for exact break point.) Brawler any skill will work. All classes most skills work except magic wall is a waste on bosses and can glitch them.

Underground ruins- Here ask the soldier for tips which are useful if you don't know some things. I'd also suggest if your a brawler to grind some ruin rats for small gloves about 30 to craft some new knuckles. If your a mage pick up the wind staff drop from Nemico. Swords you should pick up some small hilts. When your done with everything and lvl17 head down into The deepest ruins to face the golem. (You have a pt with npcs so this should be easy.)
Excavated Golem(lvl16)

• Element: Metal(Earth) - Weak against Fire
• Gear Drops: Golemet, Alto ruin (Break the back to get the bow. Fastest way. I'll check the gear stats when I'm home.)bow, Huge heavy shield
• Item Drops: Golem's fragment, Pale gem, Old metal
• Xtal: Guard rate+5%, Guard power+5%

Next instead of main quest if your a mage I suggest testing out Magic devices get the items for Magic feather. Then also go to the boat man in Sofya take the Fear in the Underground channel quest then the following one where he asks you to beat Gespent and 30 more ghosts. The reward from the Fear in the underground chanel quest is a Magic device called "Magi Klug." If I get the chance I'll get pictures. 5 atk water element lets you fly etc... It's pretty good. Fast attacks and such.
Gespent lvl20

• Element: Darkness - Weak against Light
• Gear Drops: Old Cloak(Boss Version) [Def: 6, Crit Rate +5, Dodge +3]
• Item Drops: Pale Gem, Scythe Blade, Remnant of Ghost, Thick Black Cloth, Ominous Horns
• Xtal: Mp+150, Atk-1%, Matk-1%

I'm aware of this. But I feel this is more or less a mq oriented guide. Though of you think I should delete it your Squidliness I will. .3.

 

There are people who've already made threads, they're buried cause most of us know where the drops and mobs usually are haha

 

Why would you need a main quest type? I though all you had to do was follow instructions for a really high exp reward @.@
I do think it's a good idea though, go ahead and do what your heart desires haha

I still think its good, but obviously if you complete it and maintain it updated with the last MQ mission to date. Because you also give recommendations and such I think this could be a good one for newcomers.

 

Yeah I want to finish it but I'm gonna finish off Demons Gate so I am caught up in mq first. So I'll have it updated in the next day or two.

 

MQ tip and trick- march your vita smith or synthesist out to collect your XP reward!

Less a thing since the advent of Nisel Plateau, but once upon a time it would frustrate me to forget. Actually, 10 or 20 levels from now it will likely frustrate me again (I'M DUMB!)

the bow from exc golem is bad, 30% stability, go get an fw bow instead
