Need some information

Hi..i'm kaylone.
Today not much part i want disacuss..i just need some answer
from members and elite..my mage is lvl 80 now but in battle, i always
hard to get rank if all is also lvl 70++ (any class) and also hard to drop
Xtals..but someone in pt can get 4 mauez xtals only in 2 days..Can members
give some reason?

 

Mages don't do that much dmg compared to most tiers. The best rank a supporter can prolly get is support or breaker if hybrid with brawlers.

You also need to take in account of the builds the other members have and how good they are.

 

And to think that mages also encounter this kind of problems. ^_^

 

well, as long as there are those full INT magicians, they will always have stronger spells.
but you can succeed them in other things.

when i fought ooze to get the materials, i was in a full mage party.
physical attacks don't work on it, so there were only magicians around.
they were all competing for the attacker rank, and randomly ended up with the tank rank.
they were all 20 levels higher than me, but i always scored the breaker rank, just by attacking with my staff and doing good damage with my passive dagger skills.
in the end i scored more drops than they did, just because i scored a rank they could never get.

same situation with forestia (don't know why, she doesn't have the physical resistance of ooze).
scored the tank and support ranks, just by hitting first with shield bash, then casting aegis.

well, some of them can use bless too, but if you can use bless and another skill, you have won

currently everyone is a dps class and wants to get attacker ranks.
the only thing that helps here (at least for me) is to be creative with the other rankings.
although, in the forest wolf battle, my Lv45 mage stole the attacker rank from a Lv75 2hander with a shield bash (stun) + wall combo.
then i also stole the tanker rank and scored the support rank too.

i don't know how it is at the level cap, but in the 40-50 range and below it is too easy to get the support rank.

 

A full Mage party for bossing isn't used that much though. How about other party's like for Deamon hate or roga? Rank doesn't mean you get additional item I thought. Wasn't it only if you got a rank it would show a sneak peek of the item you get? Drops are based on luck too. Not every one like kariin said is damage hungry. A good example for this would be duel wield. Yes they're a good dps but they don't do as much damage as other classes. You can get supporter rank from really anyone at any lvl.

 

you get an individual drop, a party drop and a ranking drop.
additional rankings don't give more items, so if you can get 1 rank, it's pointless to struggle for another one.
the optimal outcome is that each party member gets one of the 4 ranks, so everyone gets the ranking drop.
but since many characters are build just for attack power, they all struggle for the attacker and breaker ranks.
(and that's why the support rank is so easy to get)

 

about getting ranks in emblem..

does it all count the ranks if u get it all attacker tank breaker support per run?

 

i guess it does ...
(not sure, since i never counted. i just got the emblems eventually.
support was my first and attacker the last.)

I always use md in battle but someone says staff is better..im very confuse.
What point make someone can fast to get xtals?

 

You already selected your special stat. You could have done a Int + luck build with a hybrid of a brawler for stunning/breaking while being able to farm. Using books boosts luck rate by 50% for a certain amount of time and there is a skill in survival that boosts drop rates. If you max it out you will get a 10% drop rate.

 

208 INT shoukd give you at least 832 matk. Are you using a 1h sword or a magician ring that lowers your matk? Your 1.2k mp tells me that magician ring could be the problem here...
