New 1H DPS War Seeking Stat Advice

Hello everyone!
I'm a new and F2P player to Toram, playing as a 1H DPS War. Here's what I have planned for my stats allocation:

Dex 123 / Str 63

Is this allocation viable? Can I add vitality too? Thanks in advance.

 

Go full str for stat and go full crit on your gears. Gg.

 

Oh but what about accuracy? Wont it be low without dex?

 

You're basically just a 2h using a smaller sword in occuria's answer, wielding a smaller sword that is.

 

I plan on using a shield with 1h sword. Still full str?

 

Nah. It's best to not work on str too much. 2H focus more on that. There are some guides around here about 1h's also. If you want your 1h to stand its ground I would just in case buy survival skill>Hp boost. By the shield skill also. ( no brainer). If you have no stats left its really best for Hp boost. If you have no skills left look for Hp boosted armor or xtals.

 

For a 1H warrior with shield, Str is not the best choice for stat. Without Dex, your accuracy will be low.
I'd recommend your stat allocation be either:

1. Full Dex
2. Dex / Crit
3. or Dex / Vit

Stat allocation options 1 & 2 are for full DPS build whereas option 3 is slightly lower DPS with higher HP & Def build.

Which option you pick depends on your play style. Most players go for 1 or 2 as they like to go charging in and dealing high damage. If you like a bit more defence, guarding and willing to take a bit more damage (known as tanking), take option 3.

With a shield equipped, shield skills Force Shield & Magical Shield, buff skills Gloria (Priest skill), Protection & Aegis (both Shield skills), you can boost your Def & MDef. With limited Skill Points as it is now, take Force Shield and Magical Shield at the moment. Learn the other 2 when level cap increases in future updates.

 

Thank u guys so much for ur help. Just one more thing, how can I increase my Crit? Its not there with Str, Dex etc so am guessing its a stat i have to get on my equips?

 

Go Full Dex ..then
-Craft Adel Sword with stat Cdmge4% and Crit+7 + Ganglef Xtall
--Any Armor craft with Cdmge4% and Crit+7 + Mauze XTall
-War helm with War Xtall
-Dex II with Mauze xtall

Well if you want to add crit stats (not the bonuses from equips) theres a personal stat option unlocked at lv40, crit is one of those stats that can be permanently added to
