Hey guys, the update later includes “new recipes”, does that mean that there will be new weapons that are stronger than the current weapons?

 

Most likely yes.

 

Yep, most likely are boss drop that doesn't have recipe yet.
For example Mozt Armor has been around for a long time but the recipe are recent, this is why I keep telling people Caro Tesla recipe is coming so don't bother buying Kurotsuru/Iron Fang because the weapon attack jump on Caro.

I would say it is Lalvada's staff, katana or maybe zahhak's sword and shield

Caro Tesla has 70 base damage which means it can go to 78 easily

 

Wow from 56 to 70

Real sad if you just buy it already complete. Won't hurt as much if you just buy clean equips first then refine and customize to the best of your ability...

If not completed by the time new weapons make their appearance, easier to drop and start a new project with the newer weapons...

Then again, it's more convenient to buy already completed equipment...

But, the satisfaction that comes from using a powerful equip that you had a hand in creating...

fang should still win. compared to the case of sinergatis vs lezvie, lezvie won bec it had good stats(crit dmg and short range dmg) as well.

Since methinks Magadachi "defense mode" also adds Garyou Tensei charges...

 

This update adds new recipes,which can be weapon/armor.
What they're trying to say is that there's a chance the Caro Tesla which is the katana previously only drops from boss might become craftable after this update
which in terms degrade kuro and iron fang
value.

no need to panic.It's not like Caro Tesla is confirmed a craftable recipe in this update.
Iron Fang just came out a few weeks ago,adding a simultaneous player-katana recipe so soon right afterwards doesn't seemed right
and katanas have lower atk power than other weapons,even with S refine kur/ iron fang it would only lose about ~70 ~80 atk compared to Caro.And usually katana users relies on skills and stat more than atk.
It's not like you can one shot everything with the best katana.And new weapons usually don't come cheap at first either
no rush.

 

There was a time where 3consecutive equipment updates a new and better 2hs was released tho

 

There was also a time where they don't do that.
There's a possibility yes.But it will trigger alot of people if they decide to do it

 

Better not to expect much, that way you don't have to feel like your hopes got crushed. (Unless you're dead inside) I'd be surprised if they added like new recipes for each weapon, arm, add and ring in one go >~>
