This can be for various reasons tbh two I can think of is
1) your damage is pitiful and further increases the stigma that such builds don’t work orrr
2) which is my favorite xd......... your so called potato build out damages their meta builds and therefore they feel a sense on insecurity and thus they kick you just to feel a little better even though they suck lol

Although I get what you’re saying, however tanking in a pt can be very stressful if the dps don’t function well there , not to mention your chances of dying increases as time goes by, so when I am tanking for vent bosses I’ll try to get a decent pt because I know the stress that I feel when I don’t have such a pt. However yes there are some tanks that suck but want pro dps which is failure .
