This is actually the only MMO I've played where I saw "ifp".

At 1st I thought it was a typo but they keep repeating it...

Also another wierd one but I'm not seeing it used much here in toram is "WTS>". Wanting To Sell. I just find it wierd that you want to type something longer, people understands "S>" just fine. Mostly used by indonesians(I think? And no I'm not being racist) on an international MMO I onced played.

I believe its not racist... Its just that international servers are getting popular now compared to old mmos with national servers... Maybe some people carry over the popular terms they use in their own country, in which they use them by reflex...

But still "strom" baffles me every time i see it...

He just wants someone to pat him. There's nothing wrong with wanting a little affection every now and then.

Okay IFP is fine (or well, understandable), since it can be Invite for party or I for party or In for party.

But I also saw IFM a lot. Somebody cares to explain? Invite for Member? Tf..

Here is just my understanding on the forever changing dialect of "international english". Each ethnic group have their own way of speaking the same thing, the logic of "i say po-tei-to you say po-tut-to" is a basic rule of understanding. Most of ifp and ifm players are mostly identified as players from indonesia. Malaysians may share this kind of trend due to similar language(that statement is unconfirmed since im not a friggin linguist, this is just a theory)

No no, im pretty sure it's ifm. Wish I had SS'ed it.

So far your theory is correct. Some ifp/ifm players I knew are Indonesian. #noracist

oof, that's understandible I guess. A lot of Indonesians like Indo only parties for communication reasons.

apparently you are accurate. We may as well assume that's the case since most of the times it is an indonesian that uses that moniker. A bit understandable on one side since i have been in an indo farming party they thot i was chinese or malaysian due to my ign and they chat hours on end on their native language all the time(talk about being left out) they use english from time to time and it is just to check if i am not afk or basically bored out of my brains and fell asleep.

yah same language structure(personally i call them "wakamen" well, that is just me). Filipinos usually use jejejejej. Hence they are called "jejemons"(like "j" in jalapenos that sound like "h".)
