Preview to PVP?

I just watched a vid about gm challenge.. and it seems like a preview of pvp or some other kind of that.. BUT dont get your hopes up..its might just a mere event..

Is it really that easy to kill with a hunter? No offense but is the learning curve for them really that low? Just Snipe Spam?

 

With 4k mp and more than 50+ ampr yes you can spam like that.

 

wow that's not even challenging. If there was indeed pvp, I could just camp and 360 no scope anyone.

 

Hahaha i thought its gonna be a challenge XD its a shame I use manapot there lol. I was prorating at start then my other pt memver snipe i saw the dmg, i was like @.@ killed it fast then i saw this bad ass loot. The name was kinda epic like theres a lgendary loot inside lol. I check it in my bag lol 99rev gift

You do realize that 4k mp and 50 Ampr are NOT like, the norm right? Lol. It's just as easy as any other class with with good equips. The difference is that hunters are primarily burst damage, while other classes are sustained damage. Where some classes have combos that do 20k per attack, over a few seconds and several hits, snipers spend a chunks of time doing no damage / very little, to let out one big attack.

Sniper would probably be one of the harder classes to play in a pvp situation honestly, because of the relatively long cast time of their main dps ability leaving them open. Melee classes with fast in your face combos would probably the best. I would very much like to see pvp come to Toram in some form, but knowing ASO, I just don't see that happening :/

 

Is that video sped up or normal speed? The Snipes were coming out pretty fast.

 

That is normal speed, but still, it is a "relatively" long cast, as opposed to faster ones. Sniper is easy to interrupt, happens all the time, and in PvP it would probably happen way more often, especially when you take into consideration that pretty much every combo in the game has a CC (break) of some kind,i.e. Impact, Smash, Shield Bash, Hard Hit, etc. PvP in mmos is very fast paced and hectic, I guess we would only really have the answers if we were to actually get some kind of it in the game.
