Question on zero cast time spell/skill

I don't have a mage to test, so am wondering about the 0 casting time skills (I believe Javelin and Impact 7).

I'm guessing the lack of cast time means that you are just dealing with the animation motion speed? Kind of like 1100 aspd where the bar disappears? Does this mean cspd would have no effect? Would swift Tag have any effect?

I'm wondering as I see posts mentioning avoiding tumble/flinch while casting impact, but didn't know you could be while in the animation part?

Animation time stays the same. You just start the skill right away when it's 0 cast time. Since its at 0, cspd doesn't really matter. You're dealing with only the animation speed so I think swift would affect the skill.

 

swift and motion speed also affects skills with cast time, it just doesn't shorten the cast time, only the animation
