Rampage's buff makes combo bugged?

so its just come to my attention that whenever the rampage's buff is active, when i execute the combo it just stops at the very first skill, and when the buff's gone the combo works normally.

sample of combo that i use:
combo 1:
reflex> hard hit(cons) > rampage(save) > warcry(swift) > trigger slash(swift)
combo 2:
hard hit> reflex(cons) > rampage(save) > warcry(swift) > trigger slash(swift)
combo 3:
reflex> hard hit(cons) > berserk(save) > rampage(swift) > trigger slash(cons)
combo 4:
hard hit> reflex(cons) > berserk(save) > rampage(swift) > trigger slash(cons)

so if i execute combo 1, 2, 3 or 4, when there's no rampage's buff present, the combo works normally.
but after that, when the rampage's buff active, when i execute the combo, it just stops at hard hit/reflex (combo opener), and then it just doing normal attack, not continuing the combo.

is this how rampage skill supposed to works? or am i missing something here?

Yes, that's how rampage works. Can't use the combo(with the rampage) when the buff is active.

 

oh man, i thought it works like this:
combo
skill A> B> C> rampage> D
and it will stop until it reaches skill C
so in reality it will stop at skill A rather than skill C? it will just make the whole combo obsolete?
okay now my plan for the combo is ruined lol

 

Suggestion,
Use reflex > rampage ( save) > berserk > warcry(con) , so you can stay far side to cast the buff.
