SRD for Archer??

I watched some videos on youtube for bow build, and they all use SRD xtals for arm & add. Now I am confused, because I always thought that for an archer, LRD will be required.

My thought was that SRD for 3m range characters (2hs, ohs, ds, katana etc) and LRD for ranged characters (archer, mage).

Am I mistaken anywhere above?? Please give opinion

 

SRD stats applied when you attacking monster at 7m or below. so, i think it's because there's lot of equip, xtal that has SRD% stats you can find instead of LRD% stats. also you can use that SRD% stats to boost damage for any melee/ranged char.
