Works very good. The DEX+4% can go to +7% but I didn't gamble it. This is a better stat than the common a7%c101010.

Nice there's no penalty to armor def and what about your new bowgun weapon i really want to see it too if you don't mind.

 

Questions..
1. Something about paralyze shot, I have a friend in my guild said that it is good using paralyze when doing solo, or for myself, but not really in party. He said that my party members will hates me, because paralyze will make the boss guard more often. Is it true? Because of that I still using your old breaker combo sometimes.

2. When I said your old breaker combo, that is using sonic wave for opening and smash for closing. And my friend also said that better using bulleyes for closing, so my snipe will gets higher and stable (almost always crits). Is it true?

That's a very old version of the 1 MP combo and I removed it when we started getting the non-flinch/tumble bosses.

Bullseye for closing won't give you any issue but you're (or your guildie) mistaking it's effect with Para Shot's. Paralysis Shot is the skill which makes your stable rate higher for 10 seconds (has nothing to do with critical rate). Bullseye has no side effect. And it's false that using Paralysis Shot makes the bosses guard. Their guard rate isn't altered by paralysis, but by interruptions like flinch, tumble and stun.

I have an ATK 78 which I refined to +B. I'll wait for Lv110 cap to stat it with +11's instead of those two 10's, and I'll double-pierce it too.

 

Wow that's a quite powerful bowgun it is better to make sure if the custom stats gonna be success before putting the Legendary Piercer to element bowgun or A8%CR11CD11CD5% or got lucky you got CD8% bowgun?

 

All the 7% stats probably wont go 8% at cap110.... we would have to wait for another tier of blacksmith skills
The flats - cd, crit, crit%, base stats will probably go up as levels raise

the new combo is genius :,> i have been thinking of a double smited combo for snipers since last month. But i was thinking of using Arrow rain on the first smite and para shot as a closer. What are your thoughts about it prec?

I originally wanted to incorporate Arrow Rain too. Before I made the decision I went to test the skill damage multiplier and I found out that every skill level increases it's damage by +7.5% the only problem I encountered is that for it to deal the entire damage the target must not move from its place for the 4 rain hits and uneven land was a problem (I disliked it when farming Shining Gentleman), then I thought about Paralysis Shot. Turns out that this skill deals 75-80% of the whole damage dealt by Arrow Rain just in 1 shot and its a really fast skill. This is the reason why I smited Para. Shot instead of A. R. Besides being fast Paralysis Shot doesn't leave damage loss opportunities. If you cast a smited Rain and the enemy moves you can get less damage than with Para. Shot. And hardly enemies stay on the same place for the 4 ticks. I preferred a secure option. You still have more dps than other snipers. You could add A. R. anyway and use it on bosses with low movement like Yelb just make sure you don't sacrifice something essential.

 

WAR HELMET vs. BRIGAN HELM​

Brigan Helm is a newly added boss drop (from Scrader) which has an impressive stat: ATK+10%! It makes a huge difference on our ATK in the stat screen. War Helmet is the additional gear snipers have been using since Warmonger was added in 2015. Is it's Critical Rate +10 stat worth to keep? Or, is it better to replace it with the new gear?

This is the new Brigan Helm's stats:

• ATK +10%
• Stability +2%
• Aggro +12%
• Physical Resistance +5%
• Magic Resistance +5%
• Base DEF: 40

And this is War Helmet's stats:

• Critical Rate +10
• Weapon ATK +10
• Ailment Resistance -20%
• Base DEF: 9

Flat critical rate is equal to total critical rate. This means that without the War Helmet our damage will be 1.5x+ 10% less often. Now how does this translate into concrete numbers? Well, I made a statistical example to clear it all:

War Helmet (10% more critical hits):

From 10 hits dealt, 3 are whites of 1000 and 7 are criticals of 1500 damage: 13500 total damage.​

Brigan Helm (10% more attack power):

From 10 hits dealt, 4 are whites of 1100 and 6 are criticals of 1650 damage: 14300 total damage.​

From 10 hits, the Brigan Helm hits 1 more normal hit instead of the critical, but the 10% ATK makes up for the lost critical hits inside the normal hits and when critical hits are dealt the damage is very high in comparison to War Helmet. This makes Brigan Helm generate more DPS in both critical and white damage hits. Brigan Helm makes overall damage 6% higher. Additionally, the Brigan Helm has a Stability +2% stat which aids Bowgun's low stable rate. A wonderful Additional Gear which even gives you higher DEF & Resistances. The only con is the Aggro +12%, but as everyone switches to Brigan Helm, this stat will be present in most physical damage builds so it will eventually pair up with other players' aggro.

Everyone following my sniper guide should switch War Helmet to Brigan Helm and install Warmonger xtal on it.

I will edit the equipment section again. We all go back to War Helmet.
No one should use Brigan Helm now, its a worthless item for DPS since August 25, 2016.

ah hi there precaria xd havent been on this thread forver. good use of paralyze shot since seeing makois damage with para doing 10k+ i knew paralyze shot is decent with bowgun. and arrow rain works better with bows. if even 2 of your arrow rain misses u lose 50% of its damage. bow with tumble can remedy that but paralze reli is better option an the 20 cp helps alot haha.

 

Does the 150% dmg combo works for bow too ?
