I'm expecting skills used by NPCs. Like during battle from venena metacoenubia. Like that ray of light(Chariot?) used by Dunkelis, or that Airbrone ability used by vatendeth.

    where?
Excavated Golem is made from "lost technology" which existed before the cataclysm. also, it was damaged during the battle so they couldn't repair it. (at least in chapter 1. maybe York will bring it back one day.)
and since we are Straye, we are not allowed to learn about the Technista's magic golems.

technically pets are somewhat like golems, so another summon mechanic is highly unlikely.

I don't think the adventurer is straye, they were just considered as such because it's the closest thing to what they are without identification

Orrr they'll combine mana explosion and wave attacks just to make the game more balanced for ranged fighters.

Can't be too unbalanced ya know.

Edit: yes I'm joking, new boss is rather nice despite the no warning mana explosion.

Cqc fighters still need a way to break combos and dodge mid animation.

Don't pets already do hella amount of dmg?

But of course it doesn't give a "feel" of summoner class.
    It's just a pet.

The base of summoner class is already there with some NPCs, but that's just for show.

A fully functional summon will require some serious work.
Devs have already started small with wizard summon skill.
It's a different kind of summon, which is kinda unnecessary and more for show.
It's an incomplete summon, since it doesn't fight or tank for player.

I was thinking more like building golems like the in Robotrek SNES.
There is a grid then fill the grid with skill blocks like Tetris. The skill used depends on the location of the monster in the grid.

Maybe it is too complicated execute.

Well, unless it's some wide-range or full-map AoE where range advantage would be useless. But yeah, range advantage is already something on its own. It's not like those kind of AoE will happen so frequently.
Beside, we still have manual evasion.

there are always differences between lv1 and lv10.
not sure how Chronos Shift works, but skill level would either shorten the cooldown and/or reduce the hp penalty for insufficient mp.
for Rapid Charge it should be the charge time, or if it has a set time, like Maximiser, then skill level will increase the buff effect.
